They’ve really went downhill. I can’t even get my dog, who’s in pain with what’s probably a double ear infection, an appointment for a week and a half. This is a common occurrence. Looking for a new vet.

I ve been going to Dr Beste s for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else. Everyone has such compassion and take their time explaining things to you. This morning I dropped off my Beau for surgery and everyone was nice, explained everything to me about what would happen. I truly love this office

Efficient, priced very reasonable with friendly service! You can't ask for much more than that! I am definitely happy my daughter referred me to them.

1/23/24: These guys use to be great. I mean, the staff and doctors are amazing, but you can never get your pet in here for an appointment. Everything is always booked out multiple weeks. One of the things that makes a great vet is availability. You can be the greatest vets in the world, but if I can never get to you when my pet needs you, it's useless. Unfortunately, I am not the only one either who has had these issues. Hire more staff if you are that busy! There prices are awesome compared to other vets. They seem very knowledgeable and addressed multiple issues with my dog and made sure everything was taken care of. Staff and doctors are very nice and pleasant as well

Revised 1/24After 6 years of service when my 8yr old dog needed them the most they fumbled horribly. Called for cyst removal/education requested service with Dr preferences. Not only did staff fail to call me back the prior to surgery day they ignore my dr preference&scheduled me anyway with the very dr I chose to avoid..Dr Johnny was very condescending & rude @the most awful time ever in our lives. Their solution was to reschedule weeks out leaving my dog to suffer in discomfort & having me scramble to find new vet options. Was told manager would call me however staff continued to drop the ball & failed to forward this issue to the manager..who finally only reached out after seeing my survey. Not sure why so many disconnects however please aim higher to improve your level of customer care..ultimately our pet families suffer from your lacks of judgment and poor attentiveness.

This review will be followed with a formal complaint to the Delaware Board of Veterinary Medicine.Financial issue - received an estimate for a male dog neuter and scheduled the surgery. Received a second estimate the day of the surgery. Upon arriving to pick up my dog I received a bill exceeding both estimates, comparing the bill and estimate I found the neuter itself as well as a mandatory exam were present. This is an extremely predatory and manipulative tactic and is no different than "hospital hidden costs". That said I was aware of these being needed but not of the cost and I've never had to review medical billing for a pet to even know what im looking at. So while not reviewing the estimate to ensure these were included is fully my fault not ensuring the pets owner is fully informed is very unethical.Ethics issue - Informed consent, of which I received none. It seems that when neutering large breed dogs it is common for a hematoma to form, this was not explained as a potential risk nor was the option for a Scrotal ablation to be performed given, something that it seems is recommended to avoid this potential issue. Within a few days the swelling had gotten to the size off my fist, we called middletown vet and were told "if your worried you can make an appointment and come in" when asked if the swelling was normal the staff member repeated that statement.340-530$ estimate. actual 600$ for the neuter and now 89$ for same day appointment. Upon looking at Odin(Cane Corso) it's determined that he has a giant scrotal hematoma and is going to need a scrotal ablation. 757$-940$ estimate. That becomes a 140$ bill that day and an 816$ bill the following for the second surgey. 956$ again exceeding the high end estimate but at least including all the correct charges now. That's a total of 1645$ to have Odin neutered at this point. When my wife received a phone call after the surgery she was informed he had an arterial bleed, large hematoma and an infected abscess.Professionalism/skill - the first surgery resulted in a hematoma and an infection leading to a scrotal ablation with a ridiculously high cost and multiple traumatic experiences to my pet and at this point myself. I've spent the past week hovering over my dog wondering how much more time I'll lose due to middletown veterinarian's unprofessionalism and if I'll be making an additional mortgage payment to ensure my dog gets out of this ok.This review is being posted before returning him to have his stitches removed to hopefully help save someone else and their pets from experiencing a similar or worse situation knowing that I've put us at risk of retaliation.

I was told a nail trim was $9 and then was charged $12. It’s not that big of deal but I would anticipate that if I’m told a price that is what I would be charged.

Huge shoutout to the overnight team! Meant to leave a review last week. Staff day and night, even when theyre closed i was able to call/recieve calls and updates about my hospitalized cat. They worked with me for a payment plan and made her all better
