Went in for a tour that was scheduled two weeks in advance. Director acted as tho she didn’t know we were coming. Infant floor was covered with play gyms on top of each other, no schedules, curriculum, or behavior management policies posted outside of any classrooms. Doors to 3 and 4’s rooms were left wide open, when I asked about it the director said oh we always do that, the kids know better than to leave the room. Completely against licensing safety standards! No infant designated playground and was told that infants don’t go outside because it’s too hard. Teachers in school age were sitting on tables on their phones. Asked about active shooter protocol and was told how all staff are trained for medication administration. At the end the director took a donation of walkers for the infants right in front of us - infants are not allowed to have walkers due to safety hazards in child care. So glad I used to work in early childhood and am familiar with licensing standards because this was not even bare minimum requirements! Please do not send your child here!
