I was a stranger who was on her way to New Jersey for my sister’s memorial, and they made sure I got there. They even texted me the next day to make sure I got there safely. “This is the first mechanic I feel like I can trust in a long time. I had a lot of front end work done on my Tundra and they originally quoted me about $3800 but they took some parts and labor off after they found out that the new tie rods I needed came with the new rack and pinion. They saved me about $300 when they easily could have charged me the quoted amount and I wouldn't have known the difference. They also brought my truck in right when I showed up for my appointment and called me when they were finishing up. So many times at other places I've brought my truck in and it sat for so long before they brought it in. Then I had to call them to figure out when the truck was done. These guys don't do that. They get you in on time and call when they're done. I won't take my truck anywhere else now.”

“Zach is your go to guy for any automotive issues you may have he is such an honest down to earth guy with a wealth of knowledge about cars. Not only is he as friendly as can be he has the best pricing out there! After replacing a camshaft for my cousin her transmission went 2 days later unfortunately but Zach was able to get a lower milage transmission installed for half the price other transmission ships wanted not to mention he had it fixed in under a week. I will gladly drive the half hour from Newark to make sure I get the level of service he provides. He helped us out in a tough situation and has made a family of customers for life!”

“Benchmark saved me alot of money!!! I went to 6 other transmission shops and they either wouldn't work on my CVT Subaru transmission or they wanted me replace it, Benchmark was able to do the reapirs without me having to replace the transmission and saving me 1000s of dollars, the transmission hasn't given me any issues since, this was over year ago now, and I've put over 20,000 miles on the car and again no issues.... they now have become my go to mechanic, not just for transmission work. There prices are fair, the customer service is top notch, and there mechanics are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend.”
“I got my brake pads and rotors changed on my back 2 tires, it took about two hours due to how bad my brake pads were. The total was 588 in case anybody was looking for that lol, labor was around 300 dollars which obviously made the price more. But, i would say it is worth it to go here”

“Honest, reliable, and consistent…..Another service shop said parts I purchased from here were run down, I called to ask them why and Hank got me in two hours later, got the car up and told me the info I was given was incorrect after confirming it with 3 other people. The other place said they must have been wrong. Was clearly an ethical issue and Hank and the guys and gals at Mr. Tire were the legit ones….have known Hank for 3 years now; always takes the time to help and explain things. Excellent example of their great customer service and the need to be cautious due to shady business dealers out there.”
