Again, I’ve been waiting for a package to arrive. It was suppose to be here on the 7th. The tracking says it’s in Laurel. It’s now the 10th and I still not received the package.

This place doesn't deserve the 1 star I had to give! For the past 6 years of living here, this post office keeps screwing up, or I should say the delivery lady, sorry. She is lazy, will not get out of her truck to delivery important, certified mail and just sticks a "sorry we missed you" slip in the mailbox even though we are home! Also we end up getting our neighbors mail and they end up with ours, our package delivered to wrong house. If we had the choice to get a different post office to deliver our mail, we would have changed it a long time ago.

They are always not delivering packages at all or to the wrong house. Then they make you have to take off work to even try to talk to them because they won't answer the phone or take it off the hook so it rings busy. They use delivery excuses like the mailbox was full and that's why they didn't deliver it, meanwhile the package never would have fit in a mailbox to start with.

Terrible delivery guy. The lady we had was far better. She didn't drop, kick, or fling anyone's packages for one. 2 she KNOCKED or RUNG our doorbell. This guy never does that. I've seen him at the apartment boxes dropping the the little carrying carton and packages...kicking them around. He is absolutely the worst I've seen here. And very rude. Much like all the staff except 1 lady I come across when I go inside. I've been hung up on and rudely spoken to by another woman and some guy I've also had the displeasure of dealing with both personally and on the phone. All of usps needs to have the staffing re-evaluated. If it weren't for the kind lady both my mom and I dealt with id give a worse rating. Covid or not it doesn't give anyone the right to be rude to customers.

I'm sick and tired of receiving all of my neighbors mail instead of my own if you can't hire people that can read and learn the route then you have a problem.

I have been waiting for my package from Amazon.Got a message stating “Carrier is unable to gain access to front door to deliver the package. Please contact the carrier to resolve”He didn’t attempt to do anything. I was standing at the front door. He dropped 2 letters in the mailbox and kept it moving. It’s always like that when the guy delivers

Worst post office ever in Laurel Delaware. Lost packages, returned packages, misrouted packages. If it doesn't fit in the mailbox they dont even try to knock on the door. I had a package arrive at the Laurel Delaware USPS on a Thursday and it sat till Monday only to be returned to the Wilmington sorting location on Tuesday. Packages arriving late and left at the wrong location or a neighbor's home. This has been going on before COVID hit and is even worse now. I follow the tracking information and sometimes i cant figure out how they can send a package from Maryland to Philadelphia then to Wilmington and then to Laurel then back to Wilmington.

This post office is open until ONE on Saturdays. Compared to the typical 12pm or even earlier closing times at most other surrounding post offices. That is where they came in clutch and the 5th star was added! Today i was rushing at 11:50am to get in there, not knowing i had a whole other hour! Lol.The lady was very kind, and very quick! The girl in front of me had an issue with tracking something, I overheard. The post office lady couldnt help w/the situation but still offered her everything she knew to get her issue solved by the correct place. Everyone had a smile, no frustration from the customer or the post office lady at all. I say that bc we all have seen customers get flustered when something cant go there way. But nope, thats how good the service is...well, how KIND the service is. The building offers self opening doors, and PLENTY of signs directing you to where you think you need to be! Parking is ample as well. Just be careful, when you see the post office, start looking for its entrance bc its easy to pass and accidentally pull into the laurel school driveway/street. Stay safe all! Much love!
