“I've worked with a lotta post offices in the SE PA area. This is the best I've had experience with, bar none. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They understand my needs as a decent sized customer and make my life easy. I really couldn't ask for more. My total incoming/outgoing volume is around 600 packages a year for perspective. So not a ton but enough for it to be a real pain if they weren't so great.”
“I never write reviews but I was so taken aback by how friendly and kind all of the employees were at this location! I had never been to a post office with such nice employees before.
I went to get fingerprinted for job. The only annoying part was that the machine had to be rebooted several times before I could get the fingerprints.

“This is a small post office, so it might be short-staffed sometimes, and there are larger units nearby. However, if you time your visit to beat the last-minute-to-closing rush, you probably won't have to wait in line. If you have prepaid packages to drop off, they've got a bin for that: drop & go. Need a receipt? Ring the bell for a clerk. Check out the impressive collection of solar-powered wiggle toys behind the counter!”
“Giving 4 star just because my work got done smoothly, but it took some time.Kind of a secluded place but work gets done. Staff looked quite introvert and had to wait for some time until someone showed up at the counter. But later felt like they are ok to help with queries and process for the first timers, just look like they are not happy with the job. Overall decent for a quick mail or money orders.”

“Very good post office, always open on time. Clean friendly atmosphere. Thanks goes out to Tom he is always friendly and does an amazing job. Just an idea if a bin could be set up maybe on the other side of the door going back to the main mail room to drop off pre paid packages such as click n ship, then empty everyday at 10am and 2-3pm this would cut back on long lines.”

“Other than having to bring cash as backup due to spotty wifi, I really love this location. Parking is convenient, and although they have high volume, there is never a line. They have regular, dedicated employees who really know their jobs, are friendly, and keep things moving quickly yet respectfully. Regarding delivery, on a few occasions I needed special help with packages, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.”
“I spoke with the delivery supervisor, Augustina, today to track down a package and get it moving to its destination. She was persistent in tracking it down, explained the reason for the issue/delay, and seemed committed to getting it moving. She mentioned that my postal carrier out of that office found the error and took the initiative to resolve it. I am so appreciative.”

“I've had my share of bad USPS storys. Once I had ordered a figure and game from Japan. When I got the package, it seemed a little roughed up, but I didnt think about it. When I opened it up, different story entirely. The box had two forklift holes in the box pretty much destroying what was in there. They slapped the customs label on another box and continued with shipment.That said, not every post offices are bad. The one here on Lancaster Avenue is one of the nicer ones. Customer service is great and the location is very clean. Always had issues with my previous post office, but not this one.”

“The other post offices in NCC should have to emulate Hockessin post office employees. It is such a pleasant yet rare occurrence that you are treated as a human being when visiting a federal or state facility. Why do I expect to be treated like less of a person or why do we allow them to get away with mistreating the public and a consumer. If your job makes you so miserable you harm another by your actions you should find another job and replace the miserable with clones of Hockessin employees. You have a forever customer in me. Thank you for your diligence in representing the federal government in a positive and pleasant manner. You have restored my faith in humanity!”
