I don't understand why for going back 8 years they have awful reviews and they have done nothing about it to make their reviews better or to train their staff better on customer service. If after 8 years you still don't get it there's something wrong how can you still be in business

Horrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes for teller to run it passed a manager to withdrawal from my account because they didn’t realize it was a Delaware State Identification card and were hung up on the fact it is not a license. Train your people better.

I have had good experiences here. I never have to wait long, even if I wait a minute or two they apologize for the wait. Lisa the head teller is a problem solver and really knows her job. I'd give her 5 stars. I think the roominess of the drive thru is also nice.

Horrible! The “Head Teller†doesn't have a decent customer service bone in her body! She didn't even smile at or greet me. She refused to help me sign up for direct deposit for my new job claiming “tellers can't do that.†when I have done that at several branches with a teller in the past. Rude!

I'm giggling at these negative reviews. I've been doing business with the same crew at M&T going back to when they were Wilmington Trust. They are always kind, friendly and competent. I am always greeted with an enthusiastic "hello" and an occasional exchange of jokes. The newest additions to the staff are just as friendly.

I opened an account in this bank one day because I wanted a bank that was near the post office where I could easily deposit or withdraw money within walking distance. I found the bank to be competent and the employees friendly, but the interest rates being paid on savings or CDs to be virtually non-existent. I keep the account active by depositing a small amount monthly but don't often use the bank, but if you are looking for a bank to do your typical banking then it's quite competent, but I wouldn't recommend it for holding large amounts of assets as there are many others who offer substantially higher interest rates. I'm giving them a well deserved 4 star.
