They have 2 store cats that Wonder around named Lovey and Dillon. most of the time they also have kittens for adoption that also wonder around.They are also dog friendly, so you can bring your dog inside.They also donate to animal charity's.Last December they held a photo opertnedy where you could take a picture with your dog and the grinch.

Close to $40 dollars for a little bottle of rescue remedy!! Amazon has it for $15.00 and Walmart for $9.99!! That's an insane mark up!!

I was greeted at the door and had a nice conversation about my bare feet. Then I was helped in deciding what bones would be best for a 4 month old puppy. I usually go to the store on Marsh Rd but forgot to stop on my way out of town. I was happy to discover this one on my way.

This location has poor customer service. I was charged $1.05 a can for cat food. The cat didn't like the food. Tried to return the unopened cans for a refund but this location wouldn't stand by their product. They said can't return "I'm sorry". I patronized this location constantly as I have both a dog and cat but will never set food in a Concord Pet again as they don't stand behind their products. It is really a shame.

So convenient. The people are lovely. They carry your bags out to the car. Every 10th bag of kibble free! And I love seeing Lovey the cat and other cats being fostered.

Concord Pets in Hockessin is the BEST! Staff are friendly & helpful Well stocked Clean & neat Judy, the manager is great! She will do whatever she can to get a product. I tried ordering a specific food at another Concord Pet store ...waited a month with no result. Called Judy ..she had it the next week. When I asked at a (another) different Concord Pet store for a specific VERY NEW product....I was told "I never heard of it, and if I haven't heard of it, we don't have it and can't get it" ... (even though I clearly said more than once it was brand new product). The guy wouldn't even get off his chair to look in the computer. I went out to my car... called Judy at Hockessin ... she had it in 5 days and has stocked it ever since. I now go a few miles out of my way past other Concord Pet stores to get to Hockessin and it's worth it every time.
