Valero was a pit stop for me, but it was also a Wrong Way Stop! You might ask, "How was it a Wrong Way Stop?" First of all, it was a pit because it was late. I had already pulled over to get a quick nap because I was trying to make it home before sunrise. I had a nice time in Hartford visiting a 97yr. old dear family friend. On my way back, I was tired, so I pulled over and got a few winks when I woke up after driving for over 20 minutes or more, I knew something was wrong so I pulled into Valero Gas Station. The attendant had recently started and was new to the area, so he couldn't help me get back on track. I asked another man who didn't know the area. But a young girl drove up and took the time to pull up her GPS and get me back on the right track! I was going the, - "Wrong Way!" I guess when I woke up from my few minutes of sleep, I got sidetracked or, - you might say, " Knocked off course!" You know there are still people around who will take the time to help a stranger. I do it all the time, so I guess that's why God put the young lady there to help me. I got home much earlier than I had anticipated. I took my favorite bubble bath and curled up in my warm, comfortable bed. My mission was accomplished! I was able to see a 97yr. old friend and take her some gifts. We enjoyed a nice long ride around the city together and a very good lunch. The smile on her face made this trip a, "Special One." If the young lady that helped me get on track ever reads this post, "I thank you again for your help and your kindness! My prayer to Jehovah is to bless as you made my trip home a blessing - a well!"Naomi - Turtles!
