4003 Seashore Hwy, GreenwoodWe pass by this place every time on the way to the shore. A few years ago, the prices were so low that I was so happy and laughed. I guess they took notice and adjusted the price accordingly over the years. Oh, no tax! This is Delaware! The ice cream portions are huge, so if you don't have a big appetite, stick with one scoop. The ice cream itself is really great, and the farm is absolutely beautiful. Vanderwende has worked on enhancing the scenery over the years, making it an even more pleasant place to visit. It's the perfect spot to take a break, use the restroom, and enjoy some amazing ice cream. If you're traveling from the DC metro area to the beaches, Vanderwende is well worth the stop.
