Despite have FIVE accounts with Wells Fargo, this branch refused me service on 9/29/22 to open an account for my teenage daughter. 3 employees, an empty bank with zero customers and flat out refused. Is this how you train staff? Is this the experience an existing customer should receive? If someone with 5 accounts is treated this way, I’d advise any new customers to stay away, and specifically this branch is AWFUL! The management needs training or changed completely. Despite being a WellsFargo customer for over 10 years and being a licensed attorney for over 20 years, the branch manager at this Greenville location repeatedly gave me the run around when I came in to open a new business account. At the time, access to banks were limited due to covid protocol so I came to this branch because of availability. He repeatedly said he needed back office approval and promised to follow-up and call me. He never did. Luckily, the Limestone Road branch valued me as a customer and opened my business accounts on the same day of my appointment, with zero back office involvement. The Greenville bank manager made me feel as though he questioned me being an attorney and a legitimate businessman and therefore didn't want to assist me with my accounts.

The staff, just like its manager, are apathetic to customer issues. There appears to be a culture of apathy throughout Wells Fargo. So sad!!
