Once upon a time this was a great bank where they actually trained tellers for other locations, and there were competent managers to keep things flowing smoothly. Currently it's so terrible i wouldn't even have an account anymore if my office didn't still use them.

Customer service/tellers don’t acknowledge customers, waited 20 minutes in line, only 1 teller was taking customers and the other just walking around.

If I could rate less than 1 star, I absolutely would. We entered into conversations and started our application process on 3/30/2022, today is 8/5/2022 with the Georgetown, DE branch. For reference, we are first time farm buyers, in Maryland, we told the Loan Officer and the Loan Officer Assistant all of our information- here is what we are doing, here is what we are trying to do, we went through all of the options with them, all of their products- very meticulously. Over the last month, while we were waiting for our contract from the builder, we reiterated everythign to them again to make sure everythign was good to go once we got the contract, we sent over all of our numbers, quotes, bank information and application etc., there was never any indication of this not working out and to be fair they did get back to us very quickly, so they are responsive- also for reference this was to be a jumbo loan so pretty much all of our money and time and heart has gone into every.single.detail to ensure this can happen and in a timely fashion. Today, on 8/5/2022, we sent over our signed contract with the builder (who in fairness was the one holding some things up, but has been very thorough). Within minutes, the LO sent us an email stating that they could no longer help us because she never realized we were on AG instead of RES and they don't build on AG. She further stated that she sent an email asking us about this and where ALL other communication has been to my partner and I, this one was only to him (he didn't see it) and so when I asked her to fwd. me the email, she informed me that she forgot to copy me on the email, stating "my bad," with a smiley face. I can't even begin to explain how unprofessional this level of communication is, on top of the fact that at the 11th hour decided to finally let us know that they couldn't help us with the AG aspect after they knew we bought a farm/land and never inquried about the zoning and we didn't know that it was a question that should have been asked. Would that not be the first question you ask when trying to qualify customers or at least top 5?! I wouldn't work with this bank or the LO ever again. In fact- I would recommend, that if you are reading this to go look at Farm Credit or Provident State Bank or any other lender for that matter. Very disappointing and very unprofessional from this team and it looks like I am not the only one handing out 1 stars. Best of luck!

So I have POA for my brother. In order to handle his financial affairs, the bank needs to have a copy of on file, understand this. I needed to make an appointment even though bank is open now, okay manager Nadine said she would call back with an appointment time, it has been two days and I still have not heard back from her yet
