My poor Gracey May (Orange Tabby Domestic Short Hair Cat), was so sick. She had a Bladder infection, a slight ear infection, and was bit by just a couple fleas, which she dug at so badly she had a skin infection. The poor thing was really going through it! But the wonderful vets and staff took such excellent care of my little girl! I didnt have enough money for everything they had to do and all the medicine they gave her, but they treated her anyway and sent me home with everything i needed to get her back to ? back to normal again! Now she is her loving and adorable feline she always was! MANY THANKS to all those who helped me at the Brandywine ASPCA in Georgetown!!!! I dont know what I would've done if not for them!! ?? ??

I have been going to GT forever it seems. I WILL NOT be back. When Ashley and Tina did front desk it was so much better. The girl with diff colored hair is horrible and rude. Tina is no longer front desk I was told, bad decision. She knew the dogs and was willing to go above and beyond. When you talk to the younger girl with pink hair I think. It seems like you are bothering her and taking up time she doesn’t want to give. She also gossips and would rather flirt with the males that work there. I will be going to the other SPCAS to get my pets. And will be telling others not to go. You need new front desk people or bring Tina back to the front.

Every time my new fur baby and I walked into Brandywine after the foster to adopt process had begun we were so supported and welcomed. The people were always helpful and willing to answer our questions. The care these animals recieve prior to adoption is amazing. I will be recommending Brandywine to anyone I know looking for a pet. I think in a few years we will be coming back to expand our family, again. We are so in love with our new dog. They were so helpful in recommending her. She is the absolute best we could have hoped for.

Absolutely loved the customer service & how they make you feel welcomed along with your pet. My only issue is that I paid for a flea treatment prior to my cat’s neuter since he had ran away a couple days before & he had an infestation 2 days later after the surgery. We steamed and fogged our home while he was away, so that he wouldn’t get re-infested just for us to have to spend another $40 on capstar at walmart which worked faster than the “flea treatment” i paid for.

Great experience! Please go there. They have so many cats and dogs that would love a loving home like our new kitty, Mia formerly known as Dixie. You can go hang out with animals and the process is very easy and quick. The staff is awesome too!

This is the second adoption, I've done. Each and every time that I need to, 'll go back and time and time again cuz the animals are well taken care of and they are just so much fun once they get a new home. I love it.

I adopted Zoe about a week ago and she’s just the greatest dog ever. She’s gentle, loving, and quiet. I’ve only heard her bark 3 times! She loves attention from the neighborhood kids and gets along well with other animals we encounter. She is a bit scared of certain noises but every time she gets scared I hug her and she goes back to whatever she was doing. She also found a toy she adores! I’m working on getting her post adoption vet appointment scheduled. I haven’t received a call back and can’t get anyone on the phone so I’ll just stop in and schedule it.

Eight years ago was the first time I was ever at an animal shelter and it broke my heart. To see how well the staff took care of and KNEW each animal was touching. Bubba found his forever home that day.

Staff was welcoming and kind, they worked with us to get to know the dogs and find the best fit for our home. They have trainers and behavioralists that work with the dogs, and have done an amazing job with Burt. They make sure the animals in their care have socialization as well as enrichment, and go above and beyond to prepare their dogs to be your next family member. Here's Burt at his first petsmart trip, he picked out his own bed and toys. He's the best boy, thank you all so much!

The folks that were working last night were pleasant and receptive. They took their time to answer any questions that we had about any of the dogs and offered to show us as many dogs as we were interested in. The animal behaviorist was very informative and knowledgeable about every dog we asked her about. Special mention to the one volunteer, she was so friendly and told us her personal experience with some of the dogs. Plus the best thing about our experience, is that we brought our new family member home with us.
