I lived here 2017 - 2018 and I hated it. My first apartment and towards the end of my.lease I started to grow mold in my closet and I told them and they did nothing for a month and a half. I've called and left messages and nobody came to fix it and I had a sickly child and two with asthma. It was so bad I had to get a hotel so my kids wouldn't get sick. We ended up going to court and they didn't fix it till the day before court and demanded rent money ? I left within 30 days... then one of my friends said they had the same apartment as me and the mold came back and all they did was paint over it smh...

I've been living here for a whole year now and they've yet to fix my a/c. In the summer time it's 82 degrees in my apartment when I have it set at 74 or 76 degrees. The air is blocked somewhere throughout the vents. Some days the temperature doesn't go down until 8pm when the sun is set. I have no air in my kitchen, bathroom, or my 20 month old daughters room. One day it was so hot in my apartment that I couldn't even breathe. I expressed my concerns with the leasing office and was told they had to reach out to another contractor. It gets so hot in my apartment i can't cook and break out in a whole sweat if i try to clean. I've been hearing a new contractor was coming since I got in here. I will NOT be renewing my lease next year as this has been a terrible experience of negligence. I pay 1515 and can't even get my air fixed. My extricate bill has sky rocketed and they do not care all they care about is getting their rent money. I also heard there were other units who and dealing with the same issue and we keep getting the run around. Just not worth being here. If I could break my lease I would.

Overall, my experience has been great. The management and maintenance staff has been great. The apartment is very good. I find the bathroom a bit dated but acceptable. The grounds are decent, but could use more amenities.

Lived here for 14 months. Gave 2 stars because we had a good experience with the friendliness of Justine in the beginning of our stay. Otherwise.... Maintenance problems took MONTHS to solve. Kept the apartment in perfect shape.. even had before and after photos of issues. Contacted the office over twenty times to show before and after photos for UNWARRANTED charges taken out of the security deposit & only ever get the response of we are reaching out to the property manager.. no resolution. They basically scammed for money out of the deposit for pre-existing issues. Not to mention that even when someone got shot outside of the apartment building, they do nothing to enforce safety. No locks to get in main buildings, no cameras, etc. On top of that.. don't waste your time on their app doing rewards points because I tried to cash it in, told them that nothing ever came, and again, no resolution. I would only recommend this place if you have no where else to stay. Plus, expect to stay your entire lease term.. if you get a new job, life event, etc., they make it SUPER expensive and not worth it to even break the lease. We ended up having 2 residences for the last few months just because it was more expensive to break the lease than it was to just pay the rent. THEEENN they told us we could still move out early after still paying for the entire term's rent. Why would we? So you can double book it and get paid twice? LOL. Goodluck renting here... hope its not for too long!

My mother-in-law has been having such a hard time relocating in Delaware and out of the many apartment complexes she has contacted, Woodcrest is the only one that made an effort to speak with her and thoroughly explain the process! Justine took the time to listen to her and even though these apartments won't fit our needs, she was still kind and patient and went as far as to research alternative options for my mother-in-law. We were very impressed with the level of service and if they had 1 bedrooms accessible without stairs, this would be our first and only pick!

I lived here back in 2018-2019 when I was in college. I needed an off-campus apartment due to overcrowding at my school. It was a great experience overall and had no issues or complaints. At the time my mother and I were paying the bills and it would be hard sometimes to keep up. Woodcrest worked with us and communicated with us always. After moving out there was an issue that needed to be resolved with Woodcrest. The manager that now works there handled the situation with ease. After years of not living at Woodcrest she was still able to help me out. I thank everyone for their kindness and patience with my mother and I. I thank you also for providing a great living space in the time of need. I recommend anyone to stay here, it is a quiet, comfortable and nice place to live. Staff are great and won’t let you down. Thank you all again!

I never give reviews as positive as a person that I am but I absolutely have to! Justine and Dante are simply amazing! They went over and beyond with helping me through the whole process of successfully getting my apartment! The management team is super friendly and if you have any questions they will answer promptly. The apartments are clean and spacious. You don't have to worry about pest and you don't have to wait forever for maintenance. The apartment complex is very well managed and extremely clean and quiet! If you are looking for a beautiful home in a great neighborhood this is it...LOOK NO FURTHER!

Charged my friends an exorbitant fee for cleaning at the end of their lease and the apartment was left clean, no damaged walls and vacuumed carpet. Dunno where charges came from but it was crazy.
