We just got our shingles shots here (the new version) and everything went smoothly. The pharmacist was nice and so was the pharmacy tech that helped us. Tricare covered the cost.

If you come in with prescriptions that need to be filled and one or more them happen to be a controlled substance and you wish to use GoodRX or another pharmacy discount card instead of your insurance (assuming you have insurance), they WILL NOT fill your prescriptions regardless if they’re controlled substances or not. There are other pharmacies in Dover (even other Walgreens locations) that will fill your medications regardless if they’re controlled substances or not with your GoodRX or other pharmacy coupon. Please avoid this pharmacy unless you’re going to use your insurance and even then I’d stay away. Based on my interaction with them and having commercial insurance, I can’t even imagine how they treat people who are on Medicare, Medicaid, or any other government assistant program. The store itself is terrible too. Looks like an outdated Walgreens from 2000, not a modern contemporary Walgreens. The only think that’s good is that Delaware Public Health does free Drive-Thru COVID-19 testing at this Walgreens daily from 9:00am-5:00pm.

Nothing but trouble with the pharmacy part of the store lately. Poor customer service! I called and asked to check on my daughter's fiber prescription that her Dr prescribed on Dec 13th and was told we picked up a powder prescription as of the 18th and when asked what was it they responded with miralax. Miralax is not fiber and when I confronted them on that fact they said they never received a script for it so I called her drs and they got confirmation that they did but decided to resend the prescription. As of the 27th it was resent again I call and the tell me they never received it called the drs today and had them send it to a different Walgreens and geuss what they received it no problem.this place needs to really get their stuff together I will be transferring all of my kids prescriptions from there over to Camden bc this has been going on with different prescription for each member of my household I am even pregnant my insurance company and the Walgreens store agree that my copay is supposed to be 0(zero) and they kept trying to charge me and even told me that it is up to the store to decide if they charge the copay while pregnant I switched to Camden and they had no idea what they were talking about and I have a zero copay.....

Shopping for school supplies for a giveaway and was told by a very rude employee. She told me I was limited on how many school supplies. No signage. Nothing in the advertisement..other than the paragraph at the bottom that says in very fine print they can limit. if the sign or advertisement says there is a limit I respect that but I do appreciate how this put to me today!
