They usually have a good selection of items, but they do unfortunately have some incredibly rude staff members. Yesterday, my better half was told, for seemingly no reason, to pick up clothes if she knocks them over. Almost implied like she already did, which she did not. Additionally, staff members loudly saying they can't wait for 7 (closing time). Just not professional and not inviting at all.

My daughter and her children lost their home and everything they owned on December 18, 2023. She went to Salvation Army in Dover Delaware for help. They told her they don’t help with things like that, and turned her away!! One week before Christmas they were homeless, with only the clothes on their backs, and Salvation Army turned them away!! Disgusting!! The woman was so rude to my daughter, that someone else that was there to donate, followed my daughter outside and donated to her directly and vowed to never donate to Salvation Army again with how they treated her! I don’t know if this is salvation, army normal practice or in Dover, they pick and choose who they’re going to help you would think a family who just lost everything in a fire would be eligible for help with them but apparently not!!

Heavy set white women was very rude and disrespectful. I was unaware I needed id to pick up Xmas gifts. She asked if I had a card like a debit card with my name on it. Once I handed it to her she say in a smart snippy tone , \\\" and you will not receive future help with identification like this, you need photo id\\\", I just came to you for help. Photo id ok cool do you have 50$ for me for that federal identification ma'am??? Hmmm I'll wait..
