Purchased washer and dryer- when they were delivered they weren’t balanced correctly. Washing machine turned and hit wall on the first load. Literally spent hours on the phone with Lowe’s customer service to have someone come balance appliances. Went back to store twice and was laughed at by assistant manager. Returned items and was price matched at Home Depot. Delivery drivers hit tree in my yard when picking up appliances. Complained to customer service and was told that the store would work with me to make things right. Still haven’t received refund and still haven’t heard back from store. Worst experience of my life!

I have been a loyal Lowes customers for a really long time now. It seems strange in that there is a Home Depot less than a mile from my home in Dover Delaware but for a variety of reasons I have Preffered the blue and red over the orange. On January 14th I went to the Lowes in Dover, Delaware in search of a new front loading washing machine. I had a set of Whirlpool Duets but the washer had gone out. The washer was available but a pedestal was not. There were some good sales so I elected to go with a whole new washer and dryer set. After everything was settled I paid a little over $2k- using my Lowes credit card (full disclosure- I rarely use this card.) The associate that I worked with was knowledgeable, polite and professional- even though I was spending more than what I had planned to spend I was happy... which was the usual feeling that I had in regard to my experiences at Lowes. Monday morning my new appliances were delivered. I asked the delivery installers to please make sure everything was level. They said they would but that didn't have a level. I gave them the choice between a torpedo level and a 2 ft level. I left them alone and they came to me a short while later and said everything was good to go. I thanked them and tipped them and sent them on their way. After the delivery installers were gone I loaded the washing machine and started a load. The washing machine started banging. The front of the machine turned several inches and the machine hit the wall. There did not appear to be damage to the wall or machine but the washing machine clearly was not balanced. I spent two and a half hours Monday afternoon getting bounced back and forth between customer care and installation services before always being transferred back to the Dover store in which I couldn't get anything resolved there either. Yesterday morning, Tuesday, I went to the store and went directly to customer service. I was in the process of explaining my frustration and my desire for a resolution when I was cut off and told that everything was "ok." I disagreed and explained everything was not ok. Another representative interjected at this point. Her name is Mary. Mary said she would make some phone calls and call me back- which she did. Mary left me a voicemail and said that the delivery installers would be back out to balance the machine on Wednesday. I attempted to call the store back to follow up with Mary to confirm that a different team would be coming out. In my opinion the initial team was either incompetent or bluntly- liars. I was told that Mary was gone for the day and given another 800 number to call. After being bounced around a few more times I went back to the store and asked to speak with a manager. After a nice wait an assistant manager came out. This person, Mark- I believe, seemed to think that everything was funny. He explained that Lowes has no control over what has happened and that my complaints need to be wagered at the delivery company. I countered that if I paid someone to build my house and when moving in discovered that an outlet wasn't working that I would call the builder and that they would take care of it- not the electrical sub hired by the builder. I didn't pick the delivery service- I purchased the appliances and protection plan from Lowes and I paid Lowes for the delivery that was scheduled and coordinated again by Lowes. I went on to say that at this point the situation was so ridiculous I felt a price adjustment was in order. Mark told me that if I wanted a price adjustment I would have to talk to the delivery service. I explained I wasn't satisfied and that I wanted to return the appliances for a refund. He laughed and said ok. In less than a minute he said the items were returned and that he scheduled pickup for the following day- today, Wednesday. I left and went right to Home Depot. I showed them the receipts and explained that I had had a terrible experience at Lowes and asked them if they could match or beat the price for the same products. They were surprised at the dea

Kevin was a huge help start-to-finish in my dryer purchase. He is extremely friendly and made sure we got my delivery all set up properly.Lowes should recognize him for being a tremendously customer-centric employees!

Welcome to Dover Lowes went to the store at 7:30 in the morning to look at a dryer and dishwasher on 12/30/23. Unable to find salesperson went to front desk and was told no one would be in until 8:00 a.m.. Then associate turned around and walked away. No let me get someone for you or anything else. Called Lowes customer service desk was told this was unacceptable and not what should have occurred and the manager would contact me. Decided to go back and try again found a very helpful salesperson. Want to give credit to the salesperson Nicole as this was the only bright spot of this experience. Bought dryer and dishwasher to be delivered on 1/1/24 with pickup of old appliances between 8am and 8pm. Received an email update that delivery would be between 2 and 6. So at 11am I went out to Lowes to pick up some parts to install the dishwasher. While there get a call from my wife that Lowes was at the front door with the dryer. My wife fell going to the door as she had just got out of the hospital. Being no one had called to say the delivery time had changed . Dryer was left in driveway and old appliances that I had moved outside for them where not picked up. Oh and that dishwasher was not delivered somehow it got moved to another day with no notice. Called customer again to find out what happened and no one seems to be able to figure out what happened. Note the manager was supposed to call me. Manager put in a note tried to call mailbox was full. Now I do not know but my cellphone would log a call and my voicemail is empty. My house line had a message from 1/1/23 on with a total of 13 messages. So did they call or just fill in a form and go on their way. Do not go to this Lowe's. Stay away go anywhere else. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences in my 50 some years. I feel the fool because I went back and bought from them expecting it to get better not worse.

Go to Home Depot! This store is horrible!Employee was unable to find a manager, They need to hire more help that would care about their job because the employees actually do not give a bleep!!!!! Wish I could rate a negative zero!!!

you can barely find people in the store to help you, and if you need to call them, it's even worse. I needed an appliance replaced, ordered on line for delivery of the 20th. When i called the automated system says the 13th, but i can't get a hold of an actual person to tell me whats going on.
