A guy name "Doug" that works there as cashier is so rude and acts so miserable. Especially towards black people every since I been going to this store I always kept a kind and sweet personality. Doug made my shopping experience so much different after dealing with him. He talk to people and look at them like there trash when he is obviously the trashy one

My experience on Saturday, January 21st 2023 was a failure on purchasing anything, I went up and down4 aisles looking for the row with spices, failing to find the correct row I walked back to the front of the store where I observed the cashier near the office of some sort and no customer was there with her, so I asked her where the spices could be found, which she sharply replied you'll have to wait a minute, I'm with a customer yet the customer was on the opposite side of where she was alone. I then asked her to just tell me and I'll find it. She then remarks "can't you see I'm with a customer " and by then she had walked to the register saying I assumed was for the benefit of the customer ," I will help you when I'm finished". I replied to her "that I don't want you to help me with anything ". She then says as I am exiting the store, " I don't know what is wrong with the black people in here today". Just inside the exit door I responded to her I don't know what is wrong with and I am proud to be black. She came to the door as i was crossing the lot to the Carano said something, but not loud for me to hear. I will return to the store in the future as I have in the past, but someone with the Authority had better have her to take some training on proper behavior. I will not tolerate her behavior ever again.

They act like they don’t know how to process online orders. Came to Delmar to pick up my order. Have my email that they sent. My name is on the packages but they won’t let me have them?????? Beyond irritated

Most definitely not a 'dollar' store but they do have good deals! The employees are always friendly and helpful.

Always friendly ,there is a young lady that works there named caitlin, she is always kind and friendly and very helpful. I feel like it because the store is not cutter always clean organized you go into some and it's piled high with stuff that needs to be put out until they got a truck or this or that and I never see that in the delmar store ever.

Was there yesterday and I get running out bags I guess I should have brought my own which I have no problem doing but not to have any paper to wrap the glassware that i purchased was just ridiculous. I hope they fix this soon.

A real nice discovery and a pleasure to shop at the FAMILY DOLLAR (not a dollar store) in TAX-FREE DELMAR DELAWARE! For $1.35 Family Dollar have the best WHITE bread that money can buy!...Beating out all the other supermarkets,.[FoodLion,WALMART and Acme] The name of FAMILY DOLLAR's white bread is: OVEN FRESH WHITE, it's in a Red White & Blue package...Anyone that likes WHITE bread...Should give this 'amaZen' OVEN FRESH WHITE bread a try! I purchased 4 Loaves of this delicious bread,..The OVEN FRESH WHITE BREAD Manufactured by the EUROPEAN BAKERS of THOMASVILLE, GA..Freezes well too! And is...Great for PB&J's for the young and old alike! This above manufacturer makes hamburger and hotdog rolls also for same price as listed above... It's amazen that the bigger stores don't carry this kind good and tasty bread for this decidedly Incredible & perfect price!
