Stopped by on our way out of town. I had promised my husband no shopping. Boy am I glad I broke my promise for The Saltbox. Lots of stuff arranged very attractively with best prices I have seen for similar items! I talked to a couple of customers and Jennifer who was working there and almost decided to move to town right there and then! Everyone was so nice.It is a wonderful place to pick up beautiful home decor, fun gifts, and trinkets. One of the customers I spoke with was picking up inexpensive things to hand out to random strangers she meets just to brighten their day. I learned about the coolest bags from SeaBags there. I know what my beachy friends are getting for Christmas! It will be worth the trip back to The Saltbox.I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone visit!

Ahhhh! Adorable small business alert! Great gift shop for the water loving friends. Great Delaware and Maryland specific items, very unique and mostly local. Definitely a fun Sunday stop during your Delaware City stroll.

Quaint little shop selling nautical items and Nick nacks. Pricing is reasonable and owner is very friendly. The shop has a rustic charm and you can find many sea related items for your shore home or bar. Another place to put on the " Must visit" list in Delaware city

What a wonderful shop. I have been wanting to make it being a lover of anything beachy. But, the place exceeded my expectations with everything from candles, cups and what my husband and I stopped in for tree ornaments. Very warm and welcoming owner. We will return!

This is a great little store if you love anything Nautical. The store has a small array of things from jewelry to hand lotions, home decor and crab dip.

Cute shop with lots of unique Delaware themed decor accents. Great place for gift ideas as well. Owner is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back for more!

This is the awesome basket that the Saltbox customized as a Mother’s Day gift. They went above and beyond to create the perfect gift. I am always impressed by the variety of gifts and nautical decor to choose from and how friendly and helpful they are. If you haven’t been in yet, it’s worth the day trip to Delaware City.

My favorite store. Something new all the time. Mostly nautical theme items that u won't find anywhere else: candles, jewelry, art work, shells, pillows, clocks, maps, nautical flags, sailboats, soaps, anchors, metal sculptures....I enjoy shopping there not only for the items but for the friendly & fun conversations u can have also.Highly recommend.

The Saltbox is a lovely shop with something for everyone and a gift for every occasion. We happened onto the store while taking the long way home from Lewes. The prices are so reasonable, we bought more than we anticipated. The proprietor was also very friendly. Even if you have to go out of your way to get the The Saltbox, you won't be disappointed - it is well worth the trip. We will totally be going back!
