John and the crew were fantastic to work with. John called us right back and provided an estimate within days and started as scheduled- so excellent communication! We loved that John offered opinions and advice on color and guided us away from a few bad choices. They did our whole house. The crew was polite, professional and oh, my god, such good painters! We highly recommend them.

John and his crew did a fabulous job in my brand new home that was all shell white. I had them add wainscoting in two rooms and paint almost every room except for the laundry room. The work was done meticulously and they were also fastidious with the clean up. I would and have highly recommend this company!

Blast of Color is a company that is focused on customer satisfaction and quality work. I have hired John and his team for multiple projects that include interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, and custom paint jobs. They made sure I was happy and satisfied with the work before the final bill was paid. If anything did come up, it was immediately addressed and taken care of. I am extremely happy that I chose to use Blast of Color Painting Company to paint the interior of my house (walls, ceiling, trim, doors and closets). When John, the owner, came to the house to get the info needed for the estimate, he walked the house and took copious notes on the areas I wanted painted. He explained the process and told me what his company would do and what I needed to do to prepare for the painting. John was very helpful when thinking about what colors would look good in my house. I received a fair estimate within a week and I was put on the schedule. John stopped by everyday to check in with the crew and to let me know what to expect the next day. The crew was professional, courteous, helpful and worked efficiently. They arrived on time and were effective workers. The job was completed in the timeframe stated on the estimate. John and his team were awesome! I showed them a picture of a wood paneling wall for inspiration and they nailed it, perfectly! I've added before and after photos for visuals.The team was respectful of my home and the level of quality and attention to detail on the paint of my whole home (3600 sq feet plus garage) was impressive! It's not just paint, it's spackle and sanding to insure the paint looks perfect once applied.I'd recommend Blast of Color to my friends and family. Can't say enough good about Blast of Color painting! We are so happy with how the house turned out, thank you so much John & crew!! John is really good about responding & helpful even when we added additional things to update after work started. John was patient & understanding but remained on schedule even when we were juggling multiple contractors for other jobs for the house.*Any wood around the roof or porch is going to be wrapped in vinyl, that's why it's not painted.Services: Exterior painting

A Blast of Color (BoC) is a very impressive paint company. To start, my wife and I had our house built in Dover while still living in temporary housing out of state. We solicited multiple quotes from recommended painters in the area. We hired John Ahrem, the owner of BoC. John’s quote met our schedule and was the lowest bid. We explained we were not able to be on location often however, John was proactive by stopping by the home while still under construction; inspected every room for drywall and trim irregularities; and then provided us a detailed quote.John recommended we visit a local paint store (SW) for our paint selections. We then provided him a copy of our floor plan with each paint selection per room. First day of painting, I came into town to meet John at the house. His crew went right to work sanding and patching walls where needed without delay. It was great seeing a work crew taking pride in what they do! By the end of the third day, the house looked fantastic! They even pulled out the refrigerator and painted the wall behind it. After the painting was done, their cleanup was outstanding.We were very pleased with BoC and would highly recommend them to everyone looking to have their residence or business painted.Services: Interior painting

John and his crew were outstanding. We had work done by other painters in the past, but he's the best of the best. His crew did everything on time, and with great attention to detail, and at the originally quoted price. John listens and is easy to work with. I recommend John and his crew without hesitation.———-We recently purchased a new house & asked John & his crew to cover the horrid Pepto Bismol pink & lime green paint on the walls - he did an outstanding job! He also repaired & painted the staircase walls in the house that my wife & I were trying to sell which were damaged during the move. As I’ve said before, these folks are the best, and I recommend John & his crew without hesitation.

We absolutely love the work done by Blast of Color! It all starts with the free estimate provided by John. Out of all of the painters we received quotes from, BOC was the most detailed. They were easy to get a hold of and we’re quick to get back to us whenever I reached out too, which is a big plus. But at the end of the day, the best part about BOC is the tremendous job they did, the attention to detail, and thoroughness they exhibited.We’d recommend John and his team 10 times out of 10.
