“Another great experience with Delaware Hardscape-they delivered 12 yards of leaf mulch. I ordered online and they next morning they called to schedule delivery at my convenience. They communicate really well with the delivery schedule updates, they arrive on time, and everyone you deal with is friendly. Dave was my delivery driver and he was very careful with the property and dropped the mulch exactly where I needed it in the driveway. I’ve had many deliveries from DHS from various pallets of stone to mulch over the past 5 years and every interaction is positive. And if you need info on their products check out Taylor’s videos on FB- they’re very informative.”
“A hidden gem in Delaware, this store is a unique place to find indoor and outdoor plants. Their selection is amazing and it feels like a botanical garden when you’re walking around. “I stopped here because I remembered going there for holiday/ seasonal decor as a kid. I was saddened when I realized the Christmas ? shop was gone. When I moved back to nj I told myself I would be going there for the holiday. ?
But I still went in and looked at the plants. And boy oh boy they did not disappoint ????? their plants were flourishing and blooming. Most of the vegetable plants were already producing. ? soooo they definitely have good quality products”
“Moved to the area about 4 years ago and bought many things - anywhere from paint, to downspout extenders, rope, river rock, you name it. I love this store. I agree with one review in that their prices are a little higher than the Depot or Lowe's, but it's worth the convenience and the "small town" feel that you get shopping here. The younger "kids" who work there aren't as engaging, but they're usually working the register.”
“Went there to buy two things and stupidly left one of the things on the counter after I paid and didn’t realize as I didn’t need the item right away. The woman at the register tracked me down a week later and called me and I was able to go pick it up. So appreciative of the lengths she went to find me!!! A++++ service!”

“I have used their facility for years to drop off my grass cuttings and leaves. A few weeks ago, my car broke down inside their yard. One of the owners, Mr. J. D., drove me home on his own time, since I was unable to get AAA to tow my car before the business closed for the day. “I ordered a small mulch delivery (playground mulch) for my back yard redesign. Burke had the best prices and next day delivery. We live in a twin with a shared driveway and their driver did an excellent job of getting in and out with no issues. Mulch is high quality.”

“I stopped by this morning to Kirkpatrick Nurseries and was very impressed. The owner was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have a great selection of trees, bushes and plants. It is much larger than I expected and there was plenty to see and browse. I prefer shopping for plants at a local nursery, like Kirkpatrick, because they know about plants, encourage pollination, and provide individual attention that you don't find at retail stores with a garden section, such as Home Depot. I look forward to going back.”

“Went in looking to buy a Washer and Dryer. Mark the sale associate was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was looking at some of the lower end models. After going over somethings with Mark I was able to purchase a much nicer set at the same price. Even though I was a little early for the Memorial Day sales and promotions he was able to get approved for me so I didn’t have to wait a few days. So far I’m very happy with my Samsung washer and dryer.

“I see alot of negative reviews about the paint section here. I have to give it up for Fred though. Fred is incredible and super helpful. If you have questions about painting/spackling go to him. He will figure it out. I used to frequent the Willow Grove Home Depot, lemme tell you the Grass isn't always Greener. That place was awful- and don't get me started on the home depot near Springfield. The staff at the Claymont Home Depot are usually incredibly helpful and willing to answer questions. The 4 star review is because the parking SUCKS. Anyway back to Fred- Give that guy a raise.”
