We used to love T.S. Smith. The produce and product selection was great, and the prices were reasonable. About a year or so ago, it changed ownership. The prices immediately went up, and they now have some strange policies. If you buy milk in a glass bottle, there is a deposit on the bottle, which you can get back when you return the bottle, but only if you buy something while you are there. I took the bottle back with the intention of buying something, which they didn't have, and they wouldn't return the bottle deposit. Plain bagels are $1.00, but everything bagels are $1.25. Who ever heard of that? After buying bagels for many years, we know of no one who ever charged more for flavored bagels until now. These two complaints may seem small, but when you start adding together these types of experiences, it ends up turning us off to a place. We live close by, and would go there regularly if it weren't for things like this.

Really cute little market with lots of local goodies! The deli is great for lunch or breakfast. I really like their pasta salad as well. They carry kombucha along with an assortment of other drinks. I haven’t tried any of the baked goods but they all look great. The staff is always friendly and willing to help if needed.

Happened upon this place when driving from Bethany Beach to Baltimore. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwiches and a dessert of fresh apple turnovers and dumplings. They have a great selection of fresh produce and much more.

Stopped by to check out the fresh produce, but the overpriced items made us believe this place aims for tourists. We live 20 minutes from there. Looks like every other produce place. Nothing special. No employee approached or asked if they could help us. No greeting. Basically didn't acknowledge us, and they weren't busy.

I can't comment on the food, but the menu did look good and I took a picture for future reference. I wasn't hungry but if it wasn't 9:30 AM I would have tried some of that delicious looking fresh ice cream. What I can comment on is that the store is cute with fresh produce and some unique items... jalapeño ketchup?!? Yes Please! Also the bathrooms were fairly clean and there is a little petting zoo outback - it allowed us to stretch our legs a little before continuing on home from the beach. On our next trip down, we will be stopping here to try a sandwich for sure!

I recently stumbled upon this delightful local market in Delaware that has blown my taste buds away with their incredibly fresh and delicious ice cream! If you're in the mood for a sweet treat that caters to your allergies and offers unique flavors, this place is an absolute must-visit!From the moment I stepped into the market, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff here is incredibly accommodating and took the time to understand my allergies, ensuring I could indulge in their ice cream without any worries.I couldn't resist trying the apple cider slushie, and it was divine! The perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, it's the ideal treat to cool off on a hot day.But the real star of the show is their ice cream selection. The flavors are out-of-this-world, and I found myself torn between the choices. Ultimately, I settled on the blueberry streusel and peach flavors, and I can honestly say I haven't tasted anything quite like it before. The blueberry streusel had generous bits of tart blueberry goodness mixed with sweet streusel pieces while the peach was bursting with the refreshing taste of summer. Each bite was a blissful journey of flavors! What's even more impressive is the pricing. Two (heaping) scoops of ice cream for just $4 is an absolute steal considering the quality and taste. I wish I had ordered more because it's truly hard to get enough of this ice cream paradise.Whether you're an ice cream aficionado or someone with dietary restrictions, this local market in Delaware has something for everyone. Their dedication to allergy-friendly options and the freshest ingredients in their ice cream is commendable. I can't recommend this place enough! Hurry and treat yourself to a delightful ice cream experience; you won't be disappointed!

Clean and everything looked good. Kids had some ice cream. Everything in store seemed a little pricey. Maybe $7 for bag of lemon cookies is going rate. We aren't from around here. Still a nice place.

Happened upon this while on vacation. We had said we wanted to grab some fresh produce while we were down in the area to bring back home. I'm so glad we stopped, the sweet corn was absolutely amazing! They also had a nice selection of other produce for a reasonable price. They do have a small bakery area, although we did not pick up anything. As the product! Service was super friendly. I would absolutely stop again if I'm ever back in the area.

Very disappointed with the food I ordered (chicken quesadilla). It was very bland, didn’t have much taste. I took it back in for a refund and all the manager said was I’m sorry we don’t season our food because of “the crowd” that comes here but can I get you something else. If you just told me the food wasn’t seasoned what makes you think I want something else. Needless to say I wasn’t offered a refund so I left and will not be returning there again!

Lovely market with attached deli. The food is tasty but also very greasy. I’d say about a third of all products are European imports, come from other East cost states, or are actual products from the orchard, respectively.

As a new resident of the area, we took a chance and ordered some breakfast using DoorDash. Couldn't have been happier. Took a while to get our order, but that was was doordash's issue in finding a delivery person - although it took a long time, it was worth waiting for! We ordered a breakfast sandwich (bacon egg & cheese on a croissant) was awesome... took a risk and ordered it with extra cheese and scrapple as well, and were not disappointed! The "Scrapple Slam" was probably one of the the strangest things I've ever been served - the thought of eating a peanut butter and scrapple sandwich had never entered my mind, but I'm adventurous so... it was shockingly good - maybe it was the pepper jelly that brought it all together? Will visit in person soon, and because they're so close by, I think we'll probably find this to be a fairly regular "stop".
