Went there today, after going to 2 Lowes one Millsboro and Seaford. Then to North Eastern Supply, and Pencol Plumbing. To no avail I happened to think of H C Layton and son Hardware in Bridgeville. After a few minutes of explaining what type of fittings I needed to repair a broken gas line. They had exactly what I needed to do the job. I would highly recommend this old time Hardware store.

This was a real treat. Mr. Layton helped us. He assembled our purchase of a back pack blower. He let us try it out. He couldn't have been more kind and patient. Going there was a bit of a ride from Rehoboth and worth every minute. Looking forward to a return visit.

Just a fantastic good “Ol” feeling when you walk into the store like the good old days of hardware stores. He just has it all and very patient answering my stupid questions. Lol! Will continue to support the store anyway I can. It’s great to have something like this in our town of Bridgeville!

GREAT small town hardware store. A lil of anything you may need. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I just bought a house near by and I feel at home already with the welcoming service I received there. I definatly recommend going to H.C Layton & Son Hardware for ALL your hardware needs. Mr Layton been waiting on my family for yrs and yrs only place that knows what exactly u need! unlike Lowe's or aces making several trips till they get it right! one trip is all u need he will fix u right up always pleasant to deal with!
