Was basically accosted by the owners here, as many others in these reviews have. Deigned to pick up a small piece of paper describing a local artist from a pile of identical pieces of paper, like many shops have lying around in case you’d like to look something up later. Was approached by the owner ten minutes later and made to empty my pockets like a schoolboy. I don’t appreciate being surveilled, and I surely don’t appreciate being accosted for taking the equivalent of a business card and then being confronted about it by someone who has nothing better to do than watch the cameras. Makes sense considering there were no other customers and some items in there, even the ones that weren’t hilariously overpriced, seem to have been on the shelves for months. Seems like others have had a similar experience. Should tell you to stay away from this place.

My friends and I went here the other day and we were yelled at rudely by the large man with dark brown hair. We were sitting and looking at some of the signs in the back for maybe less than 2 minutes. and the large man came and yelled at us to leave. Terrible customer service. There is a way to talk to people and that is not it.

the old man who was working was very rude and unwelcoming to my friends and I. He did not greet us but instead just watched us as if we were going to steal something. would not recommend

My daughters and two of their friends (all minors) went in last weekend. They wanted matching items as a souvenir. The rude short-haired woman is evidently acting on par. She assumed they were going to steal merchandise, and she LOCKED THE DOOR while they were inside. She rushed to meet them at the door when they went to exit, unlocking the door after visually shaking them down. That is against fire code. Illegal, and will be reported. I’ve been coming to Bethany my entire life. This store and this woman is a stain on the community.

I have been a frequent customer at SEA CREST in our charming town of Bethany Beach for over 20 years ! It’ such a pleasure to shop where the clothes are stylish, fairly priced, staff is pleasant, knowledgable, and helpful. Would i give them a 5 star rating? DEFINITELY ;)

The shop is cool and has some neat items. I found a few things that were nicely designed and appeared handcrafted. Similar to other stores, it offered clothing, personalized items and other household products that could serve as souvenirs.

just like all the other reviews the lady with the short hair was very unwelcoming. my boyfriend and i walked in and she basically told us to get out. and proceeded to stare at the cameras the whole time we were in there, to make sure we weren’t doing anything ???? when we just came in to look around.

If I had seen the reviews before entering I would have never come in. The short haired woman is very rude. She didn’t like the way I left the changing room and proceeded to tell me as I was purchasing some of their pricey merchandise. Chastised me and then proceeded to talk about me to other customers. Who does that? I controlled myself since we had little ones and only reason purchased my skirt is because why punish myself. Please avoid. In this economy they should be privileged if we come into their store. Oh. And it’s not my job to put thinks perfectly on a hanger. That’s your job.

I was shopping with my family the afternoon of June 22. The older woman with the short hair followed us all around like we had committed a crime against her store just for walking in the door. She was rude and unwelcoming. When my one son picked up an item he was excited to purchase for his father she told him not to touch anything. We left and will definitely not be back.

I took my sister shopping here to show her something that I liked in the store and she told me they were kind of rude to her yesterday. Well today I went back with her to buy something and they were even more rude. I do not recommend shopping in this store. I will not spend my money here.Customer service extremely poor I would give them know stars if I could.

I love this cute store in downtown Bethany Beach! I love the collection of hand painted wine glasses (especially the ones with a beach theme)! I've found some clothes here that I can't find elsewhere--really cute shirts and even some super comfortable camo workout and casual pants! The children's section is great, and I found a cute sh hat and bathing suit for a baby. I always love checking out what is new at this store!

The short haired woman working the store was extremely rude and uninviting as soon as we walked in. We left the store immediately and will not be back again. Not sure how that store stays in business. The merchandise is lousy.

We have had nothing but a good experience at this shop. We ordered custom outside furniture off season and it arrived as expected.
