Atlantic Shoals Surf Shop in Bethany Beach, DE, is a great local surf shop. As a longtime customer, my family and I visit almost daily with our dogs, and we're always treated with friendly service, treats, and pets for our pups. The staff is always welcoming and helpful creating a laid-back, inviting atmosphere. The selection of quality products is great, with new merchandise constantly arriving. This shop has become a favorite stop for us, offering an outstanding experience every time we visit.

Store manager was rude and defensive when I asked him on his behavior toward my children. I spoke and approach only asking in a non aggressive manner and was yelled at in front of other customers. This store has always been a favorite of mine, my family and I have been a patrons for many years, every single time we are in Bethany, we will never go back

Me and my friends (Hispanic) went in to look peacefully, at the time, no employees were at the door. We stopped to look at the bracelets and immediately an employee came to watch us (we were browsing with no intention of stealing) we kept walking in the store and while other people also came near the bracelet section we noticed no employee came near them or was over their personal space. We immediately paid and the employee literally walked us to the exit. Extremely rude and inappropriate. We understand the bracelet section is a hot spot for stealers but we were racially profiled. Other people (white) were being able to walk around the store in peace.

One of the workers almost walked in the dressing room, while my friend was changing, he aggressively opened the door as one of my friends were closing it. he definitely could've just knocked and told us to get out of the dressing room politely. Someone could've been fully unclothed but instead he opens the door wide open. Keep in mind we're a group of girls. he definitely should've thought a little bit harder before opening the door wide open.

One of our favorite shops in Bethany. Staff is great, the clothing and accessories are always super cute and I can bring our corgi with us while we shop. Also, love the music they play. Hope this place never changes.

This has always been my favorite store in Bethany Beach but went into the store today with my siblings (65 years plus) and was looking for a pair of Olukai flip flops but didn’t find the ones that I had purchased there a few years back. Left the store and went to the store next to it. The sales person from Atlantic Shoals hunted me down with an empty Olukai cardboard hanger and wanted to look into my bag. Not realizing what was happening I let him look and then he left with not even an apology. After thinking about what just happened (I was being blamed for shop lifting) I walked back to Atlantic Shoals to state that I am not that type of person who steals anything. He proceeded to tell me that all kinds shop lift and that is his job to prevent it. I told him I get it but would like an apology because he was wrong. Nope. Proceeded again to tell me that is his job. What happened to good customer service?

John was so polite and pleasant! He help me find what I needed of course I asked for the bracelet in the middle of the display. Love every thing about this store!

The manager was a complete ass! Tried to return/exchange a bracelet that I literally put on walking to the beach (3 blocks from the store) bc it was too big and didn't want to lose it, plus no pockets and he told me no bc I was wearing it. What about the folks that try them on for sizing in the store. Folks are trying them on all the time! What a jerk! I won't purchase from this store again, instead will head directly to Bethany Surf Shop instead where they are always super helpful and kind!

The best surf shop hands down! The staff is incredibly friendly and they have the best merchandise. Their shop shirts have the most unique designs and they support local artists. I wouldn't shop anywhere else!

This business discriminates based on disability and religion. Tried to go here and was turned away because of a medical condition and my religious freedom. I would not support this business. Employee on 6/20/2020 would not let me into store based on disability and religion. How is this even possible in 2020? Is that even legal to do? I Would give zero stars is possible. This was at Bethany boardwalk location.
