I’m on vacation for Labor Day I lost my starter Friday morning there was rough seas, had to go back to a marina summit north was the closest, I talked to Samantha, she contacted Chris at 730 in the morning to get me a replacement starter a very tough ask . After 5 hours Chris kept looking for a replacement he found one and got me back on the water to continue my vacation. They went beyond and above what was required. Wife and smiles were greatly appreciated my aswife was shocked by the level of commitment they had. Chris thank you so much money can’t provide the level of service you provided . I’m out of the dog house because of the both of you , if you ever need help summit north marina is the place to go 10 stars to the staff !!!!!!!!!!

Mike Castle trial needs to be fixed there are two very big buckles in the trail and it's closed. You can walk thru it to continue on trail....there were some very shady people the evening of July 5...
Pretty scary

Beware, you will be charged for months of storage as your repairs are delayed. Not the way reputable boat yards work. And do not expect a written contract for repairs. Phone calls and emails are seldom if ever returned.

Great atmosphere. Loved the band. The food is ok but I wish they had more of a selection.

Nestled by this marina is a restaurant called Grain H2O.
If you haven't checked it out it's definitely worthwhile

This place is a DUMP!
MARINA ALERT:
Avoid Summit North Marina in Bear Delaware. Not only are the facilities run down, most of the power towers don’t work. The place is an unkept DUMP, hence the moniker “Slum it North”. Most of the staff is nice enough but leadership is non existent. Any work done on your boat the providers have to pay a kickback to management, making all the services over priced. On two separate occasions different employees came to me warning me that management stated they were going to make a ton of money off of me.
If you question management, then you’re black listed and providers are told not to work with you.
Don’t stop at Summit North, as alternatives you can go down a little further on the C&D canal to another marina in Maryland or stop at Delaware City Marina near the mouth of the C&D, on the Delaware river. Safe boating everyone.
