The interior is bare bones, and I've never seen a Wells Fargo with such bare walls and incredibly minimal marketing collateral. It was quite odd. I was running errands in the neighborhood and thought to pop in here to see if I could open up an account but they had only one banker, and she had an imminent appointment. She was friendly and accommodating and offered to make an appointment, but I didn't plan on coming back to the area for a while so I declined. It would be great if they had more bankers available and capable of account opening and didn't require appointments for every transaction beyond depositing or withdrawing cash.

On staff: Bank representative Lydia K. was highly informative and helpful. Bank tellers were friendly and accommodating.On decor: The bank interior has been recently renovated and refurnished in a bright and inviting style.

Wells Fargo and this branch are managed by idiots. I wanted to add beneficiaries to my checking account, an extremely mundane and simple request handled efficiently by every other financial institution. However Wells Fargo will neither allow it to be done online or using a mail-in form. Instead they insist that I go in person to a branch - during a pandemic - and meet in person with a "banker" to add beneficiaries to a checking account. So I went to the branch at 5100 Wisconsin Avenue 4:10pm on a Friday and after waiting in line to talk to the only Wells Fargo employee in the bank - a teller - I am told that "no bankers work" on Friday afternoon during opening hours. So I am invited to make an appointment and return. This is unprofessional, incompetent, and absurd. I will move my account to another bank...any other bank actually since all other banks allow this to be done online.

Ledia is an awesome presence at this location. She was taking care the whole front end of the bank alone and doing it with was unflappable grace and care. Answering phones and dealing with my extra long, complicated transaction would be a lot for anyone, but not Ledia, because she is awesome.

Worst service I ever had, I was the only customer and had to wait because she was training a teller. Another customer came in, then I had to wait for her to take care of the customer that the teller was already taking care of. Then a 3rd lady came out and was talking to the customer. I stood there like a fool expecting service. I got so irritated that I left. I have been a customer over 20 years. This is the worst service I have ever received. No wo der why the place looked like a ghost town. Bad service prevent people from coming back. I will never go to the Wisconsin NW location again.

Found my new branch...Service manager here just blew me away! She seems too know every customer that walked through the door. Handle my business with the upmost professionalism as well as insuring her familiar face were welcome with real love! Love customer service and she certainly provides it.
