Very pleased with Washington Marina’s offerings and services. I have bought two motors and one generator from them. Top notch specialist guided me from start to finish. Plus, when my motor had an issue that was covered by the warranty, they took care of all the logistics without any cost or effort to me—it was a seamless process.Thank you, Tom and Washington Marina.

Great marina; clean and well managed. Great location, easy in and out. Close to the wharf and great parking.

Incredibly dishonest marina. Take your business to the many other marinas in the DC area.

This is one of the last bastions on any DC waterfront -- the last privately owned full service in the DC proper. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff, mechanics, and management are straight shooters and communicative. I hope this place never goes away.

Smelled like fish.Edit: 1 star to 5 starsI have now realized why it smelled like fish, it was, in fact, because we were close to the bay. Great business guys though!

Purchased a motor for our inflatable dinghy. After searching multiple dealers in the area I found Washington Marina had the exact motor in stock. Emailed Tim and he replied, on his day off. All communication was done by email. I picked up the engine the next day. Tim took the time to walk me through the engine and the operation. Great experience and would highly recommend.

They always find additional work that needs to be done and the invoice is always higher than the quote due to "additional hours of labor". Performed additional work on my boat without authorization.

I rented a slip for the 4th of July fireworks and we had a wonderful experience at Washington Marina from the time we sign the contract with Susan and buying parts from the best Marina parts guys in the area. With the COVID and social distance my family was safe in the gated Mariana.

I took my engine in January 2020 for repair and was impressed with the timeliness of their completion. However, the engine did not start when I tried running it in May 2020 for the first time after the repair. I took the engine back for repair and 5 days passed without it being even looked at and was informed it would be about 5 more days for them to get to it. I chose to pick the engine and take it somewhere else. The next day, I found another mechanic in the area and they quoted me the same parts and labor these guys charged me for. I showed the new mechanic the invoice from January and he showed me how it was impossible that anything in that invoice was actually done. What's more concerning is that I originally called to buy a new engine but they persuaded me to repair the one I had. TWICE!!!! I'm glad I took my engine from their hands before they charged me for additional work NOT DONE! These guys are not trustworthy and do not deserve your business. If you are in the area, consider a 20 min drive to Lorton/Woodbridge. There are plenty of honest and serious mechanics there that do deserve your oportunity.
