The Walmart Supercenter on Georgia Avenue is a convenient and well-stocked store, open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM. It offers a great selection of products, including groceries, electronics, home goods, clothing, and a full-size pharmacy, with awesome prices that typically beat other area stores. Helpful features include a large underground parking garage with electric vehicle chargers and the convenient Scan & Go option in the Walmart app, which has a dedicated lane for faster checkout. Overall, it is a solid and good supermarket where you can save money. Most of the staff are friendly, good, and nice, with some described as the best workers. However, staff could use better training in customer service and are not always the most helpful, sometimes facing language barriers at checkout. The store can be busy at all hours, and there are some drawbacks in the surroundings. These include a tricky parking situation with double-parking near the entrance, loitering that can make entering and exiting uncomfortable, and blatant shoplifting. Some find the parking lot and surroundings a little dangerous at night, with a strong smell of urine in some places. Despite these challenges, it remains a not-bad store overall for running errands.
I found what I needed and picked up my Dad’s prescription so thanks for that Walmart. I just wish they had a better/bigger selection of clothing. I’ve seen some nice things in other Super Walmarts, so that was consistently disappointing, so I took off a star.
