The staff is very rude and unprofessional. Your prescription is never ready on time. The staff doesn't pay attention to detail. They put my daughter's prescriptions in her sister's name. If possible, avoid this place at all costs.

Best of luck to you if you get stuck needing a medication and go here. You’ll likely be told your medication is ready and then it won’t be. You’ll show up hopeful and then they’ll tell you it’s not ready and will be a couple hours to a couple of days. Does it matter the medication is a life-saving medication for your child? Nope! Not a lot in life is guaranteed, but it is an absolutely guarantee that the more your kid needs a medicine, the less likely they are to care or have it ready when they say it’s ready.

Gave me generic despite the doctor writing fill as prescribed and giving me the correct prescription last time. The generic version gives me nerve pain. Now I have to decide between treating a syndrome or not sleeping at night for a month, because they are too lazy to order the brand name. When I asked the pharmacist if he could order it per the doctor’s script he said “we don’t have it,” completely ignoring my question. If you care about your health, find another pharmacy.

If you can't handle the volume of prescriptions you're getting in someone up stairs needs to do something, don't just lie repeatedly and say someone's orders are getting filled in 15 minutes, then 2 hours go by and you need another 20 mins to fill my prescriptions....

Staff repeatedly made mistakes and told me wrong information, delaying vital medications for a kid with very severe medical needs and forcing me to scramble for last minute solutions. Totally unacceptable. Also, expect to be on hold for 10-30 minutes if you call them.

Bad customer service ? and always short staff. Timeliness to giving out medications is not a priority. As a healthcare worker I felt sorry to have to deal with this very store.

Customer service is nothing to write home about and even if they are short staff....no excuse to not able to serve right. Too many run arounds for no reason.

Very rude staff. They will ask you to wait 15 minutes and then when you to back, they'll say 10, then 5 minutes. All for a single pill prescription. The same lady would help the person in front of me but then tell me to wait for someone else and would walk off when it was my turn. This happened more than once to me. One of the rude ladies told me to go sit down outside to wait and got an attitude when i asked how much longer the wait would be. For working in a children's hospital, everyone is very slow, rude and trashy in how they talk to people.

Really nice staff. First and foremost thank you for your kindness. This Walgreens is a bit different than the others. It's a pharmacy with a few items, but more a gift shop than anything else. It's in the main lobby of Children's Hospital in DC. No joke it's the size of my living room. You can get prescriptions, but the stuffed animal collection is pretty good, if you're visiting a kid in for a long term stay. It's nice not having to drop bank for a stuffed animal either. So often at hospitals they drop the hammer of big bucks on you. Here they don't, although they make up for it with $2 bottles of Dasani water. What the heck? You can get newspapers, and also a few over the counter pain killers or cough drops. I love the super staff but it's rather limited.

I had a bad experience with the pharmacist here. My prescription was written incorrectly and she treated me as if I had done something wrong.
