Went here for some last minute shopping for a wedding. They were a GODSEND and knew exactly what to recommend based off of the events and pictures we showed them. My partner and I were in and out quickly with everything we needed and the knowledge of how to style our clothes. Tons of choices, good quality material, and excellent service. Visit Saree Shop DC!!

Small store stocked to the rafters with exquisite clothing and fabrics. Everything you need to dress appropriately for any Indian event. Also more casual shirts and tapestries/wall hangings/bed spreads. I bought a wall tapestry for my daughter and she chose a necklace and earrings set as well as different colored bangles. Owners are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable as well. Check it out!

Had an excellent experience here! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. My husband and I needed ready-to-wear clothes for an upcoming Indian wedding and they had a large selection and many colors. They were patient and attentive even when I was having trouble deciding on a lehenga.We came up from Richmond and would definitely make the trip again. Worth the trip for excellent service and fair prices.

Great shopping experience. A lovely shop with a variety of handicrafts, scarves, stoles, jewelry etc. that make good unique gifts. The owners were very pleasant and helpful and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend it!

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING, they sell a scarf made of polyester in china as a kashmere shawl made in nepal, far overprized for $ 40 . When I pointed that out owner got angry at me. So be sure you know what you buy, no returns once sold.

I walked in needing attire for a Pakistani wedding. The owners who greeted me made me feel like i was being helped by my sister and brother. Aside from hooking me up with the perfect outfit, they gave me advice on what to expect and even the best way to give the bride and groom their gift according to Pakistani customs. This is a standup business with excellent selection and prices.

Such wonderful sweet place. I was going to a ceremony and have never worn a saree or any other Indian clothing for that matter. When I called to see what time they closed, they told me 5 PM. So I hopped on the metro, and then the lady from the store called me back just to give me better directions for parking if I needed to. I thought that was so considerate. When I came in, she assisted me with how to place the saree on, and then she had me do it myself and watch me to make sure I was doing it correctly. I was so lucky that she spent so much time with me and made me feel comfortable in the garment. Also to mention, they have beautiful clothing all throughout the store. Their hospitality and friendliness I could not ask for more, and the quality of clothing is just as good. I will definitely be back.
