Over my 15 years in Washington, DC, I've been a member of various gyms due to my busy work life and frequent travel. Opting for full access at Vida, I've enjoyed the USt pool this summer, and recently, I attended a complimentary TRX class at my local Vida (Mt. Vernon) gym. TRX is no joke; it's an intense workout, and I felt both invigorated and exhausted afterward. My TRX trainer, Mohamed, was excellent and patient. Impressed by the experience, I've committed to six weeks of classes and am heading back tomorrow. Coordinating with Vida - Mt. Vernon staff for weeks due to my hectic schedule, they were consistently responsive and helpful. The gym is excellent, exceptionally clean, and the absence of machine queues is a huge plus. With a diverse range of classes and a juice bar, it's a significant upgrade from Results and Washington Sports.

Steam room is out half the time, and when it's working, Towels are not available half the time!, and when you bring up the issue, there are people like Vincent at the front desk in the gym, who has absolutely no sense of customer respect and screams at people. Vida has definitely fallen way below standards in terms of the people it hires, absolutely disgusting customer experience. Will not renew. Hope the management listens

Bathroom stall locks have been broken for nearly a year. Steam room is down for 3 months at a time.

I joined Vida about a month ago and have been loving it! The space is designed intelligently so that even when it is busy, there is still plenty of room for everyone and you never have to wait too long to use the equipment. I'm especially a fan of their strict phone policy, which prevents any phone use without headphones in any public area (this was a real problem in my last gym). The changing rooms are extremely lovely, with steam rooms, saunas and relaxing music playing. The team members and management team are also friendly and helpful and the perks upon joining are awesome. Great experience so far!

It's great to see the improvements made for the gym opening on time. Thanks for taking action to make this correction!

One of my favorite gyms in the area! Great equipment, facility, and team. Worth every penny.

VIDA should no longer be considered a luxury gym. The ceiling leaks constantly, the sauna breaks every month, the AC works half the time, and management is never helpful or accommodating. I broke my collarbone and wanted to pause my membership for two months as I can’t workout. They refuse to accommodate anyone for serious injuries. I have been a loyal customer over 5 years, I kept my membership through the pandemic. The customer service is horrific. Do yourself a favor and avoid this gym at all costs.

The gym isn’t perfect, but I think it’s the best option for this area. It’s almost never overcrowded, and it has a very good selection of equipment for the space. (It’s much better than the nearby equinox on both of those measures.)They could replace some dated equipment and try to keep the equipment better organized throughout the day, though. Also the floor and lifting platforms are slightly uneven throughout, which is a bit annoying. All of that said, I tried equinox anthem row for a few weeks and ultimately decided to come back to this gym. They allowed me to rejoin and waived the initiation fee, which I greatly appreciated.

If you are a looking a gym that can offer a variety of ways to achieve your personal fitness goals look no further. This Vida location offers the ability to get a quality work out right before taking a yoga class offered toward the back of the gym near the squat racks. I have had the pleasure of taking Patrick and Emilys classes in this past week and must say both classes left me at ease after some stressful days. Only wish there were more morning classes offered which is why I give four stars rather all five.

I have been a member for over five years now, had always appreciated the gym and the staff but this year I had a huge surprise when they increased my membership in 13% without any pre conversation or alignment. The reason we because my plan doesn’t exist anymore. And since when that is my issue? Beyond that, contacted many times the sales department and the answer I got was simply crickets. Their atitude was simply the pay or leave it, we don’t care! It is very sad to see a business that says care about people, integrity and so on and does barely nothing when dealing with existing customers. Now, when was during covid and the evasion was enormous, I was there supporting you and paying regularly. And to add more color and as you can see below. The business manager or owner dare to respond me to reach out! Seriously? Go there and check with Scott and Vin how many times I tried and no response. Be I of that reducing another star from the review. You can have my money, but not my satisfaction

I really like this gym! Its clean, good equipment selection, and the locker rooms are really nice.Is it expensive? Yes? - This is a hard question to answer. If you are looking at a place just for the weights, then yes. But when you take advantage of all the membership has to offer; I believe it is very much worth the cost.1. The membership cost includes the vast majority of classes and all VIDA locations are available to you. Every VIDA I have been to is very clean and some offer endless pools.2. The Sauna, steam room, and luxury lockers are really nice. Its great to relax after a workout or a busy day.3. The gyms constantly look to improve. New equipment, new perks.I would recommend VIDA to anyone who is serious about working out and would use all of the amenities.

Please do not sign for this gym. They’ve taken at least $3000 from me in a two month period. They do not explain things to you, having you sign up for things you don’t understand and then they don’t allow you to cancel them. I had a membership on a monthly basis and they said I could not cancel it? I didn’t get the year one. On top of that, their personal training prices are outrageous and they especially try to force a personal trainer onto you. I am not happy with my service here and can’t wait to go back to crunch fitness

I received a lengthy update email from the GM. I'd never received an email like this from a gym. They took the time to tell their membership about exciting staff promotions and updates to the gym equipment. I love that they invest in their own talent team and share the excitement with their membership. And it's great to know where all my $$ in membership fees are going towards (improvements to the facility)! I'm a new member and I highly recommend.

Oh, the gym? It’s great. But the customer service is abysmal. Have an issue? Want to submit a complaint? They’ll tell you that someone will reach out but they never do. Guess they are too focused on signing up new members to give an ear to the ones who have been here for years (and paid full freight during the pandemic).

Love the bike racks in front of the gym, I usually bike and then take an amazing instructor led course followed by the steam room, sauna and shower that is extremely clean with the best soap and scrubs available compliments of the membership. Also the shampoo and conditioner smells so good and makes my hair soft. There is a smoothie bar and tons of options for gym equipment.
