I got my nails done here for the first time last week. The salon is clear and hygienic with really sweet and responsive staff. I did a gel manicure, and the process took approx an hour (fairly standard) and when I left I was really happy with my nails. They looked good, the polish was smooth, and there weren't any issues.
However, the gel manicure only lasted about five days before it started to peel off. I had it done on a Wednesday, and Monday it stated to peel. Now a week later five nails are fully off. While the manicure was good, I do not think I will be going back here because a gel manicure at my other salon would last approx. 2-3 weeks. Disappointed.

Great service. Lihn has great energy and is responsive to my feedback when I ask for something to be adjusted throughout the visit. It’s clear this place is customer-focused. Very clean, too.

I Love VTNails❕ They are SO GOOD at showing so much love and warmth in this place. Nails Be Nailing ❕??? So many colors and they love to learn or be open minded to different styles lengths and designs. I had one nail break and they was so excited to fix my nail and Gave a better result. Y’all NAILS IS Nailing ❕ now In the picture I took a picture of one nail because I want you guys to look how Crispy the nail is, Detail it perfectly! Don’t play with them. The best gel I ever got !I cook for a wedding, I ve been braiding with for a week now and it still look good, I didn’t want to get my hands done at first due to the fact that it usually don’t last more than 2 days. I’m happily surprised that I still have them on despite that I do my home chore and job with. If I could fly from texas to dc just to get my mail well done. The man did an excellent job

I'd like to express that this place was a pleasant surprise. They've done an impressive job, offering the same quality and meticulous design work as you can find in other areas of D.C., but at a more affordable price.

I called around 1:15 on a Sunday to see if I could do a walk in for dip on natural nails. Chong answered the phone and said he could fit me in. I waited for about 15 mins and then Chong did my nails. I already had dip on my nails that was old. I explained I've been cleaning out my townhouse and was finally Done and moving into a new place about 35 minutes away. Instead of soaking the dip nails off, he chose to break the old parts of the dip nail off with a tool, and then broke one of my real nails. I told him to be very careful because I use my real nails and I don't use acrylic. He told me I needed acrylic and then put acrylic on top of the dipped nails- which will make it difficult to get off. He explained that I needed it so that my real nails wouldn't break. However, my real nails would not have broken if he would've just soaked the dip nails off like every other nail salon. I did not have the energy to go back-and-forth with him after having cleaned an entire town house, moving, and I had a conference the following day so I needed my nails done. it was hard for him to file my nails in the almond shape because he kept the dip nail on and acrylic. After he finished my nails, he asked me if I liked them, but then didn't give me enough time to respond. I left, very unhappy, but because I was moving, I really didn't care at this point. However, less than 24 hours later, four of my nails are already chipping! I obviously will never come back here, but I'm upset that I wasted my money on this. Nails are very expensive and to not have a a good job on them is strongly disheartening. It's obvious he wasted a quick buck and didn't care about the quality of my real nails. Nice guy but wouldn't come back.

I came for a Brazilian and an eye brow wax. The only thing nice I can say about this business is that they didn’t make me wait when I came in 15 min early for my appointment.I have serious doubts that the woman who waxed me has any waxing or esthetician training. Her method was haphazard at best, arbitrarily flinging dollops of wax down. She did not hold my skin taught when she ripped off the strips, making it unnecessarily painful. She kept insisting it was impossible to wax certain areas that are in a Brazilian. She left a ton of wax still on my bikini area, and just slopped a bunch of wax lotion on at the end. It was disgusting. The lotion and wax combined ruined the pants and underwear I wore to the appointment when I put them back on. While she was waxing my eyebrows she got my hair caught in the wax several times and proceeded to CUT my hair where the wax was caught without asking for permission. After my brows were done my forehead was still covered in wax that the waxed did not remove, instead she kept trying to smear cooling lotion on my face, despite my insistence she not. I have never left a salon in that state ever, covered in wax and only halfway waxed. I spoke to one of the technicians about how poorly my wax went and she insisted that I leave a review to share my feedback. To be honest, I wouldn’t normally share a review this sour, but the awful experience plus their indifference motivated me to share.Service: Brazilian waxing

The previous owners retired. Staff do not listen to your instructions , they do what they want. I got my eyebrows done and they did a poor job. Did completely opposite than requested, Do not recommend.Service: Waxing

Thought I would try this place for the first time, but I went in for a dip powder manicure and had to go back two times to get them fixed because my nails kept breaking. They also took way too long to remove the dip powder when I first got there. I'll stick to my regular spot from now on.
