Rude staff

Like many U.S. Post Offices across Washington, D.C., many comment on the "rude staff." Will they rarely smile? Yes. Are they a little abrasive? Yes. Will they ask you to stand back if you're too close to customers in line? Yes. BUT if you have a good attitude and are nice, they will eventually warm up.
Stopping in on a Friday afternoon in May, there wasn't a line. It's a narrow location, but sell labels, boxes, and even greeting cards.
To ship a mug, I had to buy a label for 99 cents (two come in one purchase) and the worker quickly helped me. Off it went.
There's street parking nearby.

Would give a 0 rating. Rudest staff (the african american females at the counter) ever encountered. The mailwomen, just as rude, ignore redelivery requests. Employing them does more harm than good.

This fulfills the basic functions of a post office, but the staff do not go out of their way to help you in any way.

The two ladies who were working that day, do not have any education, training or intelligence to perform their function.Specifically, the lady who helped me, was unwilling, everything I asked was a problem. The postal service must carry out a greater selection of workers.Terrible level of person and intellect. It's sad to see the deterioration in the quality of postal services.

Needed to buy just two postcard stamps! Breanna was patient, kind, and ready to assist me! Will stop here again if I’m in the area! Just remember to be kind to all the USPS employees and hopefully they will return the favor!

Most miserable people behind that counter I’ve ever encountered. I felt like i was at the airport which should not be the case. The one by the watergate mall, the employees are the same way. What is up with these people. If you don’t like your job then get a new one because customer service isn’t for you.

Website says the lobby and PO Boxes are available until 1pm on Saturdays. The front door says it’s only open until noon. Get your act together, USPS.

I’m afraid of the people who work here. Every time I have to go in, I expect to be fussed at at for something I didn’t understand. I’m sorry, I’m trying to follow instructions, please don’t be mad today, please don’t yell at me again. It’s truly anxiety-inducing and I try to go to other branches when I can.

absolutely the worst customer service, especially the middle aged african american female at the counter on Tuesday.
