I have always had great service here. The employees were friendly and helped me quickly achieve whatever I came in to do.

PLEASE READ ENTIRETY: If you read some of the reviewers below, they are clearly racist (like I mean literally typing out the employees' race as a reason why they got bad service); regardless of whether one gives bad customer service or not, you do NOT use their race or gender against them.
That being said, I agree with the sentiments of some of the OTHER reviewers in that customer service here is pretty subpar. One of the employees had no idea where my package was even though I came with the redelivery/pickup slip indicating I could pick up my item on the date written. Not very competent or professional service.

This is by far the worst post office I’ve ever visited. When I asked a simple question about my package, the young woman was extremely rude. I understand it’s a small, mostly self-service location; but basic courtesy and helpfulness shouldn’t be too much to ask. Avoid this place if you can.

I arrived at 4:15pm and it was closed. A group of 6 of waited outside for 20 minutes!
We eventually gave up and walked to the USPS on M street, but some of elderly people had health issues and were unable to walk that far in D.C. summer heat. I’m disappointed because I’d like to trust USPS honors its hours.

This location ALWAAAAYS closes before 5 pm. I try to get there by 4:45 pm to drop my packages off (I don’t even need them to do any work, just drop off) and they’re already closed. Each. Time. The lady will see you and ignore you as she continues closing.

This post office stands out from the typical drab locations—it’s more updated and modern, tucked conveniently on the first floor of a high-rise apartment building. The space is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. There’s plenty of signage to direct you where to line up for customer service, which made the experience smooth and efficient.
They also have a solid selection of packing materials and even a nice variety of greeting cards, which was a pleasant surprise. There’s a section for renting PO boxes as well. The customer service lady wasn’t the most polite person in the world but the clean, modern setup made the visit an acceptable one. Definitely one of the better USPS locations I’ve been to, when ignoring the less than polite customer service person.

This is the absolute worst USPS. There are two women specifically who harass customers regularly. It’s relentless. Absolutely abhorrent. This has gone on for years and I cannot believe USPS has allowed their unprofessional behavior to continue like this for so long.
