This is a federal building. No packages are allowed to enter without Govt ID. Regular Post Office business is allowed by public, ie stamps, envelopes and passports

Nothing to say but excellent service was provided by Ms.PAM , she was professional, nice and very quick. Went there with my wife and my twins for our first time passport appointment and everything was amazing, smooth process.This location is very recommended

Just went here yesterday, for those wondering the post office is now open to the public, you will need to go through the security screening though. Excellent post office, had all the supplies and service was excellent.

Seems to be open to the public now.The staff at this post office are the most helpful and kind individuals I have ever encountered! We mailed our wedding invites late today (10/12) and the man that picks up the mail waited for us. The woman that helped us behind the counter was equally as nice and helpful. If the post office does impact bonuses both of them are highly deserving of one for over the top service! Thank you!!!!

This post office is closed to the public; confirmed onsite and to calls to USPS. Unless you work in this facility, you’ll be wasting your time.

Can't get into the building without a congressional staff ID! Security guards let me know that general public is not allowed in the building and this post office doesn't exist? Would probably be wise to remove this location...

I echo the comments about the helpful and friendly staff. After quickly making it through security and finding the office (ground floor, Capitol/north side), I was immediately helped with exactly what I needed.

This afternoon, 29 September around 1230, I went over to the Post Office to mail two items. I was greeted by one of the happiest ladies with one of the most genuine smiles I have seen in a long time. I am always, usually, in a good mood but she made my happiness compound. Truly a professional postal employee that deserves praise. I didn't have my reading glasses so i couldn't see her name tag. However, if anyone uses this post office I hope you have the same experience as I did.
