This location is out of almost all sizes of envelopes. They also stopped providing tape of any kind to seal packages. Reason for more than two stars is it’s open early.

A man who works here took his top and bottom dentures out, sat them on the desk and proceeded to hack his lung up without once covering his mouth while the BDI at the counter barely looked up from his cellphone, only to tell me my phone number is wrong and that he can't complete opening my box. I called repeatedly to make sure they could complete it at this location to avoid this; no answer for 3 days. He said to come back, i told him that it costs money - his response was that it costs him money to get to work. Remarkable considering he's not doing any. These people need an IQ test and potty training.

I absolutely never leave reviews like this. An employee named Tina was unbelievable rude and when I tried to confront her, it only got worse. This USPS is a disgrace. Do not go here.

closes early and opens late. post office is supposed to close at 5 pm and frequently ive come at 4:50 and the entire place is shuttered. more importantly, the employees are rude, disgruntled, and quite honestly the main pain point of this location. i have been spoken down to, belittled, and ignored here. having a post office in union station is so convenient but im always reluctant to come here because i know i’ll have to deal with these bitter employees. im aware that usps workers have a tough, often times thankless job, but these ones are just the bottom of the barrel. there’s no reason for them to be so full of hatred. hire new people!

Poor service. Made errors with envelope delivery. Don’t even try their best to help!

They have a selfie stick for photos. The guy is nice. It’s cool. But the doors are mostly closed. Next to the Smithsonian Postal Museum.

Conveniently located in the basement of Union Station, in between the downstairs food court and entrance to the Metro. They were open on a Saturday morning and I was able to drop off a small package.

Tina was absolutely awful. I have gone to hundreds of post offices due to the nature of my job and she was horrible. She only wanted to do 6 large envelopes because I had too “many”. Then told me to get on the self-serve machine. There was no one in line, it was just unwillingness to assist the customer. Then she proceeds to throw attitude, talk back, and not help me on the machine. I would give a Zero if I could. It’s truly infuriating because it’s her job.

Extremely convenient location. The office hours are not kept super strikly. Have been there few times as late as 20 min past the official opening and it was still closed

Didn’t know it was possible to feel so strongly about a USPS location lol. Based on the other reviews, I’m guessing Cherry is a bit of an issue. One of the workers here (Cherry?!) is completely mentally unstable. Had a nightmarish experience here and would literally never set foot in here again. It was insane. WORST POST OFFICE DROP OFF EVER!

You have to try actively to be as unhelpful and rude as the staff at this location.

Extremely rude and overreactive front customer service people. I bet this is why union station gets so many threats
