The UPS store staff is always very helpful with sending any special mail or packages I have in a very organized, timely, and efficient fashion. Whenever I have to send multiple presents during the holidays to friends and relatives who live out of town. UPS assists me in making sure the presents reach their destinations before the holidays. Thanks for all that you do.

I used this UPS store to ship my laptop out to a third party seller on 7/8/24. Three women were running the front of the store. Initial experience with staff was fine and I purchased a box for the laptop to be packed up in. Instead of packaging the laptop right away, it was placed in a plastic bag and placed on a counter towards the back of the store.
I then requested I be able to see the packaging and the box the laptop was packed in before I left. The woman responsible, heard my request and responded that “it will be packed by 6pm” to the other staff when they communicated my request. At this time, it was approximately 4pm. I then stood there waiting for them to show me the packaging, but they ignored me and fully packed the laptop towards the back of the store out of my sight without letting me view how it was placed in the box. This is very frustrating because the price I am reimbursed for selling this Mac laptop depends on the condition of the laptop when it arrives to the location. Also, I wanted to put eyes on the laptop going into the box and being sealed before I left the store since it was just left on the counter to be done later and I wanted to avoid issues with it being misplaced or mislabeled since it was a Mac laptop worth over $1500.
Me requesting to view how it is packaged was not a request that required that type of response (ignoring a customer and fully packaging the laptop without me being able to inspect it). Please do better going forward.

The UPS representative did my packages. Charge me $2 for tape. But he did not do that for the customer that was in front of me. He used the label to tape down the top of her package. I felt like you discriminated against me but whatever reason

Helpful staff, no problems there. The issue is charging $5 to print a single sheet of paper used to return my item. $5…for a single sheet of black and white paper. Fedex has charged 79 cents in the past and I’ve even printed return paperwork for free at other UPS locations. This one wants $5. Next level greed if you ask me.

The team went out of its way to make sure I got my package, even after a mix up on my end. I appreciate their flexibility and willingness to accommodate, which saved me a trip to Landover or extra shipping costs. Thank you!!

The staff was super friendly! Got our bags checked in quickly and had them ready for us when we picked up.
Would highly recommend it if you need a place to store your bags while you're in DC.
