To echo what others have already left in the reviews. Exceptional lack of customer service. This may be U-Haul as a company, but this location specifically. The self check-in process is flawed, time consuming, and inefficient. Truck wasn’t there when and where it said it would be. When attempting to get help to troubleshoot sassy, unapologetic, unhelpful, and just plain rude customer service by both women working. It was clear there was not a signal care given. This is my second time moving with U-Haul and both experiences were terrible. Would highly recommend using any other move in company. Another customer was having the same issues while I was moving out.It’s not so much that they couldn’t come with objective solutions as it was how dumb they make you feel and how rude they are. Would much rather prefer AI to run this place. At least it’s polite.

Exceptional lack of Customer Service at this location. We showed up, and they were uninterested to help us. Forced us to do an online check in while they stayed on their phones behind the desk. Then we asked where the trucks were -- they just pointed "outside". Well, we couldn't find the truck - namely because it was damaged. We finally had to *beg* someone to help us find the truck, and they couldn't find it either. After getting in the truck, we ask for the dollies and moving blankets we rented - they said "oh, you have to pick them up yourself". Well, we go to look for them around the warehouse and couldn't find the furniture dolly and they said they were out of stock and we were, essentially, SOL. Finally, we get in the truck and there is a check engine light on... Which they really seemed not to want to care about when we brought back to exchange. This entire facility was not willing to problem solve, and clearly do not enjoy what they do. Avoid this location.

Hi??♀️ Did you know your storage unit rent goes up every year? Well I didn’t ?got the biggest shock when that thang popped up on my text alerts ?.My unit was on the 3rd floor for almost a year, until I had to out of the blue move some of my daughter’s things into mines. That day found out the elevator that goes to the 3rd floor was broken. I’m handicap and made that very known when I initially rented my unit. The clerk assured me that day November, 2022 that there would be ELEVATOR ACCESS to my unit (let me mind you at that time I’m thinking there’s 4 elevator but its ONLY 2)Rented a truck 1 day at the end of September 2023, to help my daughter move?. I told her she could put the access stuff in my storage unit. Had the young lady use my info from my storage unit to rent the truck, but she failed to notice that my unit was on the 3rd floor. Since that elevator was broken, there would be no way to get the stuff up there??♀️. Here it was after office hour's, we had put the rental truck keys ? in the drop box ?, and NO WAY to get to the 3rd floor with all this stuff ( let me remind you I’m in a push walker & it’s just me and my daughter).We called the 800 # , they reached out to the facility general manager, he told us to put the stuff in a temporary unit on the 2nd floor. Really appreciate him for doing that. Even at night it was still hot, and I was sweating like a pig (there is definitely NO A/C ?️?). The whole ordeal was way more than I bargained for☝?.The 3rd floor access elevator stayed broke for months, it might actually STILL be broke cause this happened in September, 2023, they helped me moved my unit downstairs to the 2nd floor in November, 2023 and it still wasn’t working but they did COMP MY RENT? FOR THE 3 MONTHS it was out. And I can not tell you how good it felt to not have to pay that $250 for those months The staff gotta a team of movers to transfer my things downstairs to the new unit at NO COST?? to me. All in all it’s more of a LACK OF COMMUNICATION issue with the staff more so than calling them and nasty. It can become frustrating on BOTH SIDES cause they ASSUME you know certain things are taking place, and YOU assume that they would just COME OUT AND TELL YOU (not well an email was sent, or it was mailed out to you *wrong apt.#?) The location is convenient, the workers are for the most part friendly, but THEY’RE HUMAN we all have bad days. The building ? is ANCIENT and it’s big ??️ construction going on in that area so it’s expected to have a bit of roaches and rodent ? . I moved from a 2 br house ?️ with an attached storage shed into a 1br w/den, so the downsizing was EXTREME? Still don’t know where half my stuff is, but I know it’s in dat storage room ? REALLY need to sell most of that stuff cause I can’t afford to continue to pay $260 a month out of my ♿️disability ?

I picked up uhaul from this location with ease. This location is easy to access via metro or bus, which was perfect.My truck was in great condition and I made it across country without a problem.

I've been to my storage unit four times since this summer. Every single time the freight elevator has been out of service. The manual elevator only goes to the second floor, which means that the only way I can get any of my things in and out is by carrying them up and down three steep flights of stairs located on the far side of the building. At 65, it's infuriating. Seriously, how many months does it take to fix an elevator? IRS already been four or five!

I had reserved and checked in online for a storage unit. I also rented a truck and bought moving supplies. Everything was going smooth but when I went to the storage I was assigned to there was a lock on it. Chanelle helped me find another storage unit that was available although it was smaller than the original one I reserved. All my stuff managed to fit! Dollies were available which made it easy to move from the truck to storage. I'm glad Chanelle was able to assist me with accommodating me to an alternative unit and with my truck reservation and purchased items! She was super helpful and kind!

Best Uhaul I’ve ever been to. Customer service is excellent and process was quick and efficient. Hats off to Cornelia who called me and told me that I left my bag in the truck then kept it safe for me. Will definitely recommend this location to anybody moving.

Silly folks were unable (and unwilling to help with) a truck rental despite my jumping through their various hoops-- rent online, register online, check in online, scan your license online... WTH do you hire employees for?I went to another location the next day and there were helpful employees and no problems .Avoid this particular waste of space and time and go to any other Uhaul, maybe you won't be peeved. For here and you will.
