We worked with Marian and got the perfect bed and a fabulous natural wood bench for our entryway. She spent the time we needed to ensure both items met our specifications for space, the delivery time was met, and they fit and work perfectly.

I had several communications with Marian Kerolos before finally purchasing my Toro counter stools. The first was when I called to find out if the store sold any counter stools that came in red leather. She promptly texted me pictures of the red leather that was an option, so that I could see if it was the kind of red I was looking for. She followed up with my inquiries and eventually I went to the store to make my purchase. Marian showed me various options and moved furniture from one area of the store to another so that I could compare the different options. Once I made the purchase, she followed up to make sure I was kept informed of the arrival of the stools.

We were able to buy a right furniture for the entire brand new house and we couldn’t be any happier with the outcome.Marian helped us for designing the right furniture for the right space and that was priceless.I truly appreciate Marian intelligence and professionalism!

This company is shuttering its operations at the end of the month. They assure me that they will honor all warranty commitments, but….. I have concerns given that my sofa ( a new product, not yet reviewed) is now at the local warehouse; delivery is not available until the end of July; and Theodore’s turns over all remaining inventory, etc to the buyer as of August 1st.For the $221 fee and a local delivery, I would expect prompt delivery from their warehouse. It would give me a little more breathing space. I note they were quick to demand final payment before advising of this delivery window.Theodore’s has been a decent operation, but not without a few quality control issues. See also Yelp reviews. Any problems will be a monster to rectify.

We did a full renovation for our house, and we decided to get all our furniture from Theodore's. Marian, a designer with the company, helped us throughout the process and was very kind and skilful in her work. She is very dedicated to her work and was the evermost professional. We are very happy with the outcome.

Surprisingly poor quality for the price. I purchased 3 tables at Theodore’s, and all three scratch at the slightest abrasion. I also purchased 4 chairs, and on all 4 the upholstery did not hold up at the seams. To purchase the fabric to get them reupholstered, they wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars in delivery charges alone. Terrible disappointment.

As an Interior Designer, I have absolutely loved my experience working with Marian at Theodore’s to help find the most beautiful pieces for my clients new home! Marian has been an absolute gem to work with! She’s so helpful and attentive and quick to respond to all my calls or emails and helped me make my clients very happy! Not to mention Marian is sooo nice as is the rest of the team! I love working with Theodore’s and can’t wait to bring in my next client.

Theodore’s has very high end European furniture - large selection. However, once you purchase, service is not great, they don’t follow up as needed, and it is nearly impossible to get replacement parts etc like special screws / rails etc. because the furniture is all from overseas, it is not easy to get replacements and you have to chase them for answers

I'm extremely pleased with my experience at Theodores, Washington D.C., toward purchasing a Thayer Coggin sofa for my home. Marian Henein, the Design Director and my personal consultant, could not have been more exemplary with her expertise, patience, and caring, so necessary for me to choose the best options. She tirelessly worked with me as I pondered over numerous fabric choices and colors. As a result, I had my beautiful sofa delivered without incident two days ago meeting the proposed timeline and expectations. I highly recommend choosing Theodores and its design team for upscale, quality furniture purchases.

I have shopped at Theodore's for years starting with my first home in 1998 and again most recently for my new home this year. Their store is well curated and filled with stylish selections. The team is always helpful. In particular I worked with Marian who is always responsive and patient.

I purchased a credenza on clearance for use as a console below a large screen TV. Although I lived in the DC area for many years and had previously purchased other furniture from Theodore's, I had recently moved out of the area, and had to have the credenza shipped across the country. Marian was extremely helpful throughout the process. She responded promptly to my inquiry about whether Theodore's could arrange for the credenza to be shipped, got bids from multiple shippers, and arranged for the shipping as well as answering my questions about the credenza and providing her own photos. She also followed up with the shipper once they picked up the credenza from the store. The shipper delivered the credenza in perfect condition and the delivery team was very professional. The credenza was worth the trouble and expense of having it shipped from DC. It is a very attractive piece of furniture, perfect for the space, and I haven't seen anything comparable from other furniture stores.
