Visited The Dopamine Clinic a week after Thanksgiving 2019. Brother Dele' was broke AF lol so I treated him to some good old Gunness Stout. While we listen to Metro Boom ? hip hop and drank Dele' was a Man and machine! Full of ideas, notions and sentiments. Concepts were plentiful
The Dopamine Clinic is Delé (shorthand for Akindele) Akerejah’s (Day-Lay+Ah-Carriage-Uh) brainchild spinoff of the late 2000’s honeylab collaborative where music was the focus. The Dopamine Clinic is an extension of Dele’s personal experience, philosophy, and personality expressed through interdisciplinary art that is created and curated in a humble brick and mortar location studio that also doubles as his home. It is a supper club, lounge, think tank, design house and love shack all rolled into one within a simple one bedroom apartment in southeast Washington, DC...Don’t let the pedestrian exterior of the simple walk up building fool you.
