This is a comprehensive neighborhood market with a friendly and kind staff. The prices are reasonable and the selection of products broad. It’s always a pleasure to shop here.

I live in the neighborhood and go here at least weekly. Everyone who works there is super nice and the market has saved me countless trips to the grocery store when I’m short on an ingredient or two. Great selection of quick snacks too! Love this place.

This Place has the best pupusas I've tried in all of VA. It is always very hard to find a place with very good pupusas. The filling is amazing and a good amount as well, the salsa and Hispanic coleslaw that comes with it is amazing. The service here is a 10/10 and the place is just very ambient place. I definitely recommend this little place!:)

Minimum $5 for CCard is ridiculous in a 2022 post pandemic world. I tried to offer $3 for a $2.50 Gatorade and they still refused the transaction. So much for conveniently exchanging money for cold goods at a profit on an 85° day. Absurd. Raise your prices or add a button to the POS system. Everyone else is doing it.

I walk to this store every day, and have done so since the day I moved here - it's the best "convenience" store I've ever been to. It's actually a full grocery store, packed into the size of a convenience store. If you need something, more than likely you will find it here. The staff - every single one of them - are so friendly, welcoming, helpful, efficient... I can't say enough. They have even stocked items I've specially requested, and not just once mind you, they keep them in stock. Yes, some items do cost a little more than they would at a large chain grocery store or supermarket, but it's certainly not a significant difference and for many items I've seen no difference at all. What locally owned business is able to price-match national chain stores anyways? Regardless, the price is offset by the convenience. And aside from the convenience, it's just a genuinely positive experience in my day. I'm not going to hate on the store across the street - once in a blue moon there will be some item that this store won't have in stock that day and I'll go across the street, but there isn't anything special about the store across the street - it's a convenience store as you'd expect. The Corner Market is just something better than that.PS. Great (rotating) beer and wine options as well.

Has everything you need and a bit more. You could really get by doing all your grocery shopping here, though you might not want to because it is a tad pricey, but not more than average for most bodega/corner markets in DC (it's to be expected). They have a great selection of wine/beer, some fresh produce with the essentials. They have most basic food items like bread, milk, cereal, beans, rice, canned foods, etc and they even have cleaning supplies and basic household items. This place really came to the rescue a number of times when we needed sugar or some sort of spice for a recipe in a pinch!

I originally confused this store with one across the street and hate that I did. I LOVE this store. The people are always so kind and I always come here over the one across the street specifically for this reason. They have a great selection and are a great neighborhood market.

PLUS their politeness in their response despite my mistake shows how nice they are!
