Best place in DC to watch the game. Only reason I have the food 4-stars what because they serve "ball park food" which I like, but it's not like a place I say, "Let's go to dinner here" Great service. Great beer prices!

The Bullpen is the go to spot in the District for pre-game music, drinks, and snacks. The brat was grilled to perfection, the cocktails delicious (they pack a punch), and everyone who works there - very friendly! The live music was great AND no cover!

Great spot for a drink or to meet up with friends before or after a Nats game. Large bar area, live music, and multiple smaller shops inside. No cover charge. Smoking is allowed inside and at least one vendor sells cigars and cigarettes. The only bathrooms available are portapotties, but there are plenty of them available.

We enjoyed this place. We went to watch a band. It was crowded. Drinks were not terribly expensive. Food was average. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is absolutely not my scene. I dread loud music, beer, and feeling like I’m in the thunder dome. And going into it I was miserable. And that changed fast.The crowd was fun and friendly, the band played a huge mix of music, not just the AC/DC style songs you’d expect. And overall it was a good time. But don’t expect good drinks or any form of selection.

Absolutely awesome place to hang out. Especially after a baseball or soccer game. Drink prices are okay. They usually have a great band as well. Lots of good people to hang out with!
