Oh, Ace I had such high hopes for you. You had the potential to be one of Tenleytown's treasures. Unfortunately, you are a disappointment. In a word, you are a mess. Enough aisles are littered with clutter that it is dangerous. Some employees are knowledgeable; others, not so much. Prices are generally higher than big box stores, but hey thats understandable since you pay for convenience. Looking forward to the day when I see some improvement and appreciate your presence.

Can’t say I had the best experience here today. I can understand that it was busy and workers were stressed but my experience goes beyond it simply being busy.I went to copy 2 hour keys for me to have when I have visitors. The guy who copied the keys the first time was great. I was checked out by the manager based off what his apron said. After checking out and getting my parking validated. I looked in the key bag and noticed that one of the keys was missing (note: the manager took out both keys to scan).After realizing it wasn’t in the bag I immediately went back to him to see if he had it. Upon barely looking around he aggressively says “no are you it’s in the bag” I then show him that there’s only one key in there.He goes to the back to copy the key again which I am grateful about. However when he comes back, he says “it’s on us” very much as if I caused him an inconvenience. I would hope it’s on them considering my house key has now gone missing.As a young woman in this current world it does cause me a lot of anxiety as someone could easily have the key, then proceed to follow me home with ill intentions.I just feel as though this matter was not handled in a way that it should’ve been.Side note: when I got home the key he then copied again doesn’t work…

Excellent customer service at the Key Department. Unfortunately, we had to go back and have it redone. Decided to give us a brand new key which was done manually instead of the computerized method. Love it!!

Ace does not recycle any lightbulb except CFL lightbulbs. They basically told us to just throw them in the trash. As good customer service, they could have just thrown them in the trash themselves if DC does not really recycle bulbs. We brought about 40 bulbs for recycling. It was a balancing act carrying all those bulbs, and now they said take them all back.
