A very convenient neighborhood grocery store. The selection of foods is pretty decent considering the size of the store. Workers are always friendly & helpful. Only the relatively high prices gives me pause sometimes.

Make sure to check your receipt before leaving the store. I found out a few days afterward that I was charged for an item I didn't purchase.

I can usually find what I am looking for-great! But I gave Street Market a c-rating. For whatever reason when I said good morning to the worker before asking my shopper related question, it was rejected by a grim looking expression. So I went on my way.

I love this place! Minus one star because it is on the pricier side, HOWEVER, people often forget that this is a locally owned business and they deserve credit where credit is due. Much rather shop here than from some mega food monopoly.

Inflated prices, poor customer services, overcharged me 2x for items, poor labeling of food products. If there were another grocery store near me, I would not be going here. I would not recommend this Streets market if you can avoid them especially with their lack of customer care. Not a good supermarket in general and again, way too high prices for non-fast food items.

Charles is amazing! He went above and beyond to help us hunt down a rare product. His kindness and attention to customer service is such a rarity! Well done Streets supporting these kinds of employees.

Moved to Forest Hills area, switched from Harvey market to Streets (all under Mercato umbrella) and find no discernable difference except for the butchers.

The problem with Streets is that it's in the Cleveland Park neighborhood, which is becoming unlivable due to several aggressive panhandlers who spend all day around the store harassing people. I just came from the store, and one of these guys came into the store while I was there and began shouting at one of the women shoppers. He was extremely angry at her and was verbally assaulting her so loudly everyone in the store either left or hid in the back. She told someone later that he had followed her down the street and touched her, and when she said "F** off" he lost it and chased her into the store. Streets and the other stores in Cleveland Park tolerate this behavior all day and night and don't put any pressure on the city to clean up their mess. LAST TIME I'M SHOPPING IN DC. From now on, everything I buy will be in VA.
