I came into the store a little after 10am as I normally do and was promptly greeted from the staff. I ordered an ice grande blonde vanilla latte and ham & cheese crossaint as I usually do. The staff were trying to be as quick as possible even with the store being almost filled to compacity. Santana, who made my drink was absolutely fantastic! I watched her make multiple drinks on two separate machines at one time trying her best to get drinks out as soon as possible. She was absolutely terrific, fast and as sweet as can be.

My rating is because of the mix of new baristas and students not paying attention to their orders. This makes the service slow, and the dining area crowded and chaotic.

They yell at people to review their store in the lobby, so here it its. Today marks the second time my drink was either an hour late getting to me or was lost all together. I understand running behind, this Starbucks is located in the middle of George Washington University so I always try to order significantly ahead of my schedule to make up for how much traffic they get, but the workers there are so numb to this traffic that they no longer care if they're behind, they don't care if you ordered your drink an hour ago and they act like you're the problem for even asking where your drink is at. I tried at ask politely twice where my drink was after waiting for 45 minuets and was flat out ignored. Finally, I was so frustrated, I just asked for a refund and then got more attitude from the cashier. I understand Starbucks is a Starbucks and most wont read this review but I don't know what else to do other than call corporate.The final note is, if you want Starbucks in a timely fashion, just don't go to this Starbucks.

Not the worst and definitely required additional barista training.ONE person preparing beverages verses number of orders...same with food... not a good ratio.Waited much longer than usual.

so nice. they undergo so much stress cause of how busy they are. some guests can be so mean. my drinks are always made right and my food is never cold. it has a nice coffee house vibe to it.

So dirty. Went the 2nd week of class for gw students and it was a mess. Never gave my drink and I had to wait for more than 40 min and since they didn’t hand me the printed ticket. No redounds. Bad staff too most are so rude as if you’re stealing. Let me remind you everyone is your costumer.

Always lock their doors at least 15 minutes early. Quality is below average for a Starbucks and service is abysmal.

Could do so much more!The location is wonderful, the staff trying their best, but not enough. Dirty tables left by bad customers who didn't clean up after themselves (see photo). Unfortunately, staff walking by, but wouldn't cleanup.My wife needed a restroom, but the only one available is locked ( labeled - for baristas only). On requesting access, we were directed to another facility half a mile away! Not upto Starbucks quality, standard or ethos!I would give one star for that alone. Staff probably needs training on how to NOT treat visiting customers!

This is the Starbucks from HELL!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!They have the WORST customer service. You have baristas in there with a vengeance. You literally interact with them for 2 minutes and their attitude is as if you stole their husband. If you order on a mobile app be prepared to wait longer than 15-20 mins to get your drink. AND WHATEVER YOU DO....DO. NOT. ORDER. FROM. BAKERY!!!!! Their staff will prep 40 orders before they bring your sandwich, Bagle, or croissant out. And by the time you get it, it's cold!!!! They do not think that we should pass out the food as it's coming out hot....no no that would be too much of an inconvenience for them to walk 3 feet from the toaster to the counter to simply give your order. You have to wait for 39 other people's orders before yours is fulfilled. I mean do they not think the food is going cold as customers wait for other orders to be fufilled. All in All please avoid this place. Bad service, bad coffee and no logical thinking!
