I was googling shoe cleaning businesses near me and found Sole Wash so I called and the owner answered the phone and told me when she would be at the shop. I went the next day with my suede flats to be cleaned and although it took a little over a month to get them back due to a recent flood in the building, she did a great job. Plus first time customers get a nice discount! Parking is tight on Pennsylvania Ave SE so park around the corner or near Trader Joes and walk across the street (if you buy something at Trader Joes, they will validate your parking in their garage). The owner is super nice and very responsive to texts/calls from customers checking on the status of their shoes. I highly recommend this black owned business and wish the owner continued success.

I've taken several pairs of sneakers here and they've done a spectacular job. I've even had a chance to watch the owner Nichole work on the finishing touches of my sneakers when picking up and the care and attention to detail is unmatched. Customer for life!

I don’t know where I’d be without Sole Wash. I’ve been collecting sneakers since high school, and a lot of my older pair require routine maintenance. Time and time again, Sole Wash has brought sneakers back to life for me. If you’re a sneaker head and you’ve got pairs that require maintenance please give them your business (you won’t be disappointed).

This place is called sole wash more like sole “we don’t care” not gonna wash. If that’s what 3 months of repairing and cleaning my shoes looks
like I hate to see 3 weeks. Don’t let them take your money, wish there were more options in this arena.

I had a sweet set of kicks. I really did. And they meant a lot to me. They actually came from my recently passed father. I sent them to a “reputable” business… it took over a month and I FINALLY got them back. I guess there’s a reason it took so long, because they came back worse than I sent them. Do not, for whatever reason, do not send any that means any to you, to these guys.
