In consideration of personal safety, I would advise against frequenting such establishments. It is my earnest recommendation to avoid these locations for the preservation of personal well-being.

This Shell gas station is just across the Anacostia River once you drive along Benning Road. It's a large gas station so you're bound to find an open pump. It's clean and right off a few highways.

This place change prices where they are not suppose to. I went to purchase a tobacco product for a friend who is handicapped and the product has a price of .82 printed on the package however I was charged $1.25 for the item. Then there was a three pack printed for $1.82 (1882's) being sold for $2.50. Is this even legal? The price printed on the pack is what should be charged ...nothing more. When I spoke to the cashier about it he laughed and quoted me his given price. I said I would complain. He hunched his shoulders like he did not care. If we keep allowing this in our communities they will keep doing it. Speak out! This is not fair. Contacting BBB as well. Im serious about this. This need to stop.

This gas station is fairly well lit, however, considering the neighborhood its in its not exactly a warm and fuzzy place to get gas. Furthermore, the fuel rewards cards that are advertised as being inside so that you can earn fuel points are not inside. The employees that worked there acted like I had three heads when I asked about it. Also it has NO bathroom whatsoever, which if you are buying fuel AND need to go to the bathroom its certainly more convenient. I have contacted Shell directly about this.

I know what you're thinking. "There goes Martin reviewing something stupid like a gas station again." But before you pass judgment on me, consider the following: This gas station is also a hydrogen fueling station for god damned hydrogen cars. If you're a geek or a gearhead like me then you should think that's pretty flippin' awesome! Otherwise, it's a very well-lit gas station with a lot of pumps. Not much else to be said really. Despite being so awesome as to have a hydrogen pump, you're still gonna be paying an arm and a leg for gas.
