“Found Bookstore Movers based on some Reddit reviews so decided to request a quote online. They got back to me the same morning via email which was crazy fast. And that experience was consistent every time I emailed them moving forward - amazing customer service. We got James, John, and Myree for our move and we couldn't have been happier. They were very quick and efficient, and overall very friendly people! All of our boxes were out the door in less than 20 minutes (about 15 boxes). The furniture took longer but that's to be expected, especially since they took the time to wrap everything up in moving blankets which was awesome! They chatted with us while they moved our stuff (but they didn't get side tracked) and were pretty fun to talk to. It was about $800+tip for an apartment to apartment move within Arlington. I don't know if that's a great value or not as I've only hired movers twice, but I do know my stuff arrived undamaged and they made the move pleasant and stress-free so for me it was well worth it. Will definitely be hiring them for my next move!”

“An acceptable place to return a trailer in the DC areaA husband and wife launched U-Haul as a business in 1945. This truck and trailer rental service has grown to a large organization that has 23000 locations across the United States. We recently rented a small trailer to move some items to a location in DC. I have rented and returned from other locations but I have never returned an item to this location before. But like most people, I know that I do not use U-Haul very often. The location for this site is on the southwest corner of New York Ave NE and Bladensburg Ave NE. The area seems a little older than others but this place is easy to identify with a lot of trailers in a flat lot right next to the road. The entrance sign is well-marked. There is an open-air covered area to drive your return right up next to the building. It took a few minutes but a staff member came out to help us unhook the trailer and inspect it. Turn-in was that easy. I was impressed and happy that it was efficient and quick. Even with having to wait a few minutes for someone to come out, I was done and checked out in less than 15 minutes.”

“The first van they gave me had a faulty gas gauge. I lost time trying to figure it out at the gas station and had to return the vehicle. However, the staff were helpful and quickly assigned me another vehicle. They also refunded the money I spent on gas in the first vehicle. The second vehicle they gave me was new and in excellent shape. Overall would recommend this location for hours / location / services available.”
