“The initial offer price was great, so I signed up. The facility is safe and clean. I kept my furniture there for months without any coverage and it was in great shape when I moved out without any damage or termite. The manager is a very good, honest woman named Tiffanne. She was quick to refund the extra payment that I had made by mistake after moving out. The only issue with Extra Space is that they keep increasing the rent every 6 months without informing you. So read your contract terms carefully. I am not sure if other storage companies also do that. Maybe they all do. But if you are looking for a short-term contract I think it's great value for money.”

“I've used Bookstore Movers for three moves now during my DC tenure and they are, in a word, amazing. When you submit a request, they get back to you within an hour with an estimate. They are really helpful with everything you need to get done pre-move, the moving truck rolls to your front door exactly on time, and they are quick and efficient but very safe with the move -- everything gets wrapped up and taped up. All in all, we were done with a two-bedroom house move ten miles down the road (farewell, DC) in two hours. 100% recommend.”

They arrived on time for pick up and delivery, were so quick and organized, and all of our fragile items were packed carefully. They were friendly and mindful, which made it a little less scary to have our items arrive later than we did (pick up was scheduled Saturday, delivery was Sunday).They made our big move a million times easier!”
