They offer a diverse range of activities that keep my daughter engaged and learning. One of the highlights is their balanced menu, which ensures she gets nutritious meals every day. I also really appreciate the amount of outside time she gets. I highly recommend Bright Start to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.”

910 7th St SW, Washington“Our son attended the toddler program here for 6 months and we were so pleased with the care the school provided to him! He started attending here at 14 months old and we saw large improvements in his development, speech and social skills. The teachers, staff and managers are all very welcoming and caring. We dropped our son off everyday feeling good about his safety, the care, and the education he was being given. We were sad to have to leave the school, but are moving out of the area and thus had to part ways. Highly recommend this daycare!”

1849 C St NW MS 1011, Washington“We absolutely love Fingerprints, and we know our toddler does too. He learns so much from the creative and age-tailored activities (we love seeing the cool things he does on the app!), he has so much fun playing with friends and on the courtyard playground, and he simply adores his teachers. From Ms. Tabithia and Ms. Judy and Ms. Kayla in infants, to Ms. Monica, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Gabie, and Ms. Destiny in toddlers, he loves his teachers like family, and so do we! We have the piece of mind that he is with attentive, warm, fun, and energetic teachers and caretakers all day, and bringing home all these new skills and milestones to boot.”

5331 Colorado Ave NW, Washington“We had our son in pre-K here during the pandemic, and our daughter in the program Estrellitas started to enable kids to do remote learning with supervision. Our kids learned a ton of Spanish, and did art, games, walks in the woods, field trips, and playgrounds throughout the pandemic. Their staff is incredibly committed and hard-working, and showed up to help our kids throughout the pandemic when other people did not. I would recommend the program to anyone, and will definitely have my kids back for their summer program and school breaks.”
“We can’t say enough good things about Primrose at the Parks. The staff and all the teachers are caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Our daughter has moved up through the school since she was a young infant. In all of her classrooms, the teachers have provided an exceptional level of care. They make sure our daughter is loved and actively learning while we are at work. The staff is accessible and communicative. They listen to parents’ needs, answer questions, and are quickly responsive to concerns. Our daughter is excited to go to school. She is thriving. Her development has accelerated in the almost year we’ve been at Primrose. Finding great childcare is one of the most difficult and important decisions parents have to make. We would choose Primrose at the Parks over and over again.Edit June 27 2023: We're still very happy with the care our child receives, but we do have one gripe to convey. Resolving payment conflicts is unnecessarily difficult. The school was closed for a week last winter (Dec 2022), and it was not initially announced as part of the school year. We had to arrange alternate care on relatively short notice, and we were not pro-rated for that week. Additionally, our child moved to a larger class (more students per teacher) recently, which decreases the monthly fee. However, this occurred mid-month, and it was again not automatically pro-rated.”
“The CCBC Community is like family! We are so lucky to have landed at such a magical school. Our older son has been at CCBC for 3 years and our younger son will be going next year. The teachers, staff, and administration are wonderful and are deeply invested in making the school a fun, safe, and highly developmental learning environment.”

The school communicates with parents constantly to provide updates and action photos during the day. Our son comes home every day and tells us of the wonderful activities he does, which we feel is paying huge dividends as far as his vocabulary and general development.”

5511 Colorado Ave NW, Washington“I posted a year ago and my review still remains the same. This daycare is awesome and great for children that you want to introduce Spanish too. They are very caring and loving here and take their time to build good rapport with not only the children but the parents as well. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old that understand the language and can speak it as well. Bring y’all kids to Colorado Ave NW!!!! This is where learning is fundamentally fun!”
“My 3 year old son has been going to Kid Village for almost 7 months now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours. I can see the growth and learning every day! The teachers are able to separate the younger and older toddlers so they get more 1 on 1 time and best of all, the children seem very happy there. I will note, my son had terrible separation anxiety when he first started going and was not great at taking naps, but the teachers were extremely patient with him! When I see my son interact with the other kids/“friends” as he calls them, they give him hugs whenever he comes and goes and love to share toys with him. My son has learned to count to ten in Spanish and has learned the primary colors in Spanish. The daycare is also great at keeping parents in the loop through the ‘Child Pilot App”, where parents receive updates on the curriculum, potty/diaper changes, when they have taken a nap and share pictures of their activities. It’s very nice to know that he is in a caring environment while he isn’t home. If you live in Shepherd Park or a nearby neighborhood, I would definitely recommend.”
“I love MindBloom Preschool. My daughter learned a lot, especially Mandarin. Ms. Jing has been doing a tremendous job teaching her additions, reading, counting, and writing. We, the parents, enjoy the program a lot, and our bundle of joy is excited each time we go to school.”
“What a great, unique, and FUN experience!
So, I found this gem on good ole Tik-Tok and I must say, it was E-VER-ry-THING that each reviewer mentioned! Capitol City Circus School’s Flying Trapeze two hour course IS a must try!
If you are seeking a memorable experience, this is indeed it. And the gag is, it is only $80 to determine if you missed out on YOUR calling of being a member of UniverSoul Circus! I kid lol.
This experience is located in a huge tent (captured in this post) with skilled, friendly staff. Upon entry, you are greeted, checked in, and “buckled in” for the experience. After the majority of class has arrived by the committed time, there is brief “hanging” test to determine whether you can hold your body weight along with some explanations of what is in store for you for the upcoming session. Once everyone understands and is ready, it is on to “practice what we learned/tried” while we were firmly on the ground.
Each member took the time to thoroughly explain the steps and provide guidance for improvement.
I would definitely encourage everyone to try this class with Capitol City Circus School.”
