  The check-in experience was fast and easy. My stylist, Galya, was very knowledgeable about my hair type and provided practical advice to care for my hair. I also enjoyed the salon assistant's service, she gave me a great wash and was very friendly.

  My first experience at Salon Revive was great! I made an appointment the same day and was able to come in and get my style. The receptionists were very polite and professional. The wash relaxing as well.
  
  Salam was my stylist. She did an excellent job of cutting my damaged ends off, as well as shaping and styling my hair. I was very pleased with the outcome! I will be returning.

  I’ve been coming here for 5 years and there is no better place for curly hair folks to come. It’s always been a wonderful experience. Lily and Nicole always take such amazing care of me. My hair is longer and healthier than ever and they taught me so much about taking care of my hair over the years.

  My stylist was polite and professional. Selam took her time and handled my hair with much needed TLC. She recommended a steam treatment which my hair desperately needed. She communicated each step of the process, as it was my first time ay Salon Revive. I got the steam treatment and women’s haircut, including wash and blow dry (without the straightening even though it was included). Selam made sure I was comfortable with how much she cut off beforehand. She was also very patient with my questions and clarification questions. Selam was lovely and I look forward to my next cut with her!

  It was my first time visiting this salon. I came in for a scalp detox and deep condition before I got some braids. I was able to book an appointment the night before and which was nice. Overall the salon is clean and they appear to run on time with the appointments, however I have a full head of thick hair and they used this tiny thimble like container of product on my entire head and spread it thin instead of just using more product. The scalp detox was okay, she just put another cream like substance all over my scalp before sitting me under the steamer. I thought it would be a more detailed process than just putting a cream on my scalp. Then they offered me a blow dry for $75 and it was an immediate no lol I was already paying $105 for the scalp detox and deep condition. She also didn’t give me any tips or advice at the end of how to keep my scalp/hair moisturized. She didn’t even put any leave in conditioner or product on my hair after she washed the deep conditioner out. Overall the service wasn’t bad but it did feel pricey for the quality of service I received.
  
  Also, the atmosphere of the salon was different... They keep the door locked and I’m not sure if that’s because of the neighborhood it’s in or what but they manually unlock and relock the door when a customer enters. Also, the stylists don’t talk that much lol to each other or the clients so it’s like a quiet vibe in there, which is not bad just different for a natural salon

  My new go-to! I’ll be honest, I haven’t gotten my hair trimmed professionally in years, but there was zero judgement - only suggestions on how to maintain my curls. Galya coached me through the entire process, providing options that kept me in control while cutting, doing treatment and styling. She was so informed about my curls texture, so I felt very entrusting of her skillset. Days later, my hair still looks like I came from the salon! Prices were very reasonable, especially for a trim/style of textured hair in DC.

  Great service. Salon was so welcoming and took me in as a walk in. Best deep scrub wash. Salam really took her time to give me a great wash. My blowout was very nice and she took her time while pressing out my hair. Im on day 3 hair still looks great
